I personally like little secrets, like the ghosts, in these kinds of maps. Makes it fun to dabble in. Like, Rooftops 2016, there's so many secrets in it that, if someone is new to the map, they could see amazing things for the first time.

It's an incredibly rare chance (unless you're spamming it the whole round) and if you're a traitor, perhaps you should avoid using it and take the stairs/vent.

Also it's a thematic element of the map.

That would be really cool if you did that. Also we figured it would activate a traiter tester because it would be hard to get all the bodies there and would require working togather which the T could use to their advantage.

There is absolutely no traitor tester. Sorry, I have a very critical opinion about traitor testers. I feel they entirely remove the investigative aspect of the game mode and just give players an excuse to kill other players that don't comply.

Ah okay I understand. And yeah that would be cool. There's only one traitor trap so it would really sick if the Traitors like triggered one of the easter eggs and that it would kill the innocent. But other then that it doesn't seem to happen a lot really. Only had 2 traps have ever set off for me once.

If the events are happening often enough to bother traitor players i can possibly disable them when a traitor triggers them.

I'm not going to provide a list of the events and how they're triggered because that would ruin the purpose of putting them in there. They're supposed to be a mystery and provide a feeling of dread.

I have determined that upon playing solo, playing with the corpse in the closet that is nailed shut angers the ghost and appears and will kill you in that closet - within the same round the elevator trap happened as well, but i'm assuming that was just concoincedence?

There are lots of "easter eggs"/randomly generated events in this map. The elevator trap is completely random but relatively rare. Just depends on whether you've angered the ghosts of the asylum or not. ;)
