It's not something that will win the game for everyone but it WILL guarantee you the early game. Paired with desert folklore, this can make any civ with a desert start into faith powerhouse big enough to make the celts shake in their boots and it only gets better when the Petra is thrown in later. Really fun to play with as a civ with a desert start bias but no where near balanced.

Possessing this wonder should have a 1% chance of aliens showing up to seize the city.

(10 points if you get the reference.)

Works for me, well done!

I really like this one. Fits perfectly with Petra!

True enough. I guess since it is so early you either have to get really lucky with your capital or rush your second city to be able to make full use of it. What bothers me is if you did spawn in a desert near say 4 flood plains, you're just handed the option to build something twice as good as stongehenge instead. I haven't played with it though, so maybe I'm overvaluing it. It is kind of hard to compare such a situational wonder to the official ones, none of which I think are particularly situational other than The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus.
It's a very situational wonder though, as there will usually only be a couple locations on a map from my experience where there is enough flood plains for the bonus to extend beyond the static wonders, so I think it's fine personally.

+2 faith from every flood plain sounds like alot compared to other faith wonders that give a static 2-5. +1 seems more balanced to me if its going to be available at calender. if it was later in the tech tree it would fit better because faith generation is all it really does. Kinda like a late classical or early medieval 'stonehenge 2'.

Well done sir. As an avid ancient Egypt student and scholar, I salute you for designing this. Can't wait to produce it in game.

Nice, that would be amazing with petra.
I'm updating it for Gods & Kings, where it will give +2 faith from flood plains as well
Wait it only gives you a free temple >.< not much a wonder...
An(tho)nie 2012
Its kinda pointless since there is a policy that gives a free culture building in your first 4 cities, i.e. a temple in your capital by the time you get it. Makes this wonder obsolete.
Very cool concept. Outright the +4 culture and +3 from temple outdoes stonehenge, but long term stonehenge provides 2 more total culture. Getting your temple free of maintenance adds some appeal too.

The way I see it, this wonder adds a nice alternative to stonehenge, and is better for early game strategies relying on getting key policies fast, such as an Iroquois tradition/honor hybrid opening tailored for a fast 5-6 mohawk+general capital rush.
It provides a free temple (Or temple Unique building) in the city, and I think 2 culture. It comes with Calendar, so you can get the free temple before temples are available normally
