Oh there's an idea. I like the built-in look of things like that which are close to walls or the side of a mountain, hard to make a blueprint out of it though.
Thank you

Thanks, happy to share my stuff with you guys. I also just put a link in the description to another fortress I recently made
Awesome man, glad you like it
You're welcome, it's something I will be doing on any structure I make here on out. The turrets are not connected because the piping would look awful, however, each one is prefilled with ammo.
It makes such a difference when you buildings don't "hover" above the ground.
Looks good I am looking forward to trying it when my convey reaches the Alien planet.
Are the turrets connected to converyors?
How bout make a nice storage shed and put the cargo container in it :). No need for representing when you can build it IMO.
I like to look through google for inspiration. There's a lot of interesting design cues on there that I like to try out in SE, and if it looks good i'll roll with it.
Nice thing is, SE runs well (minus planets), and if I am on a planet world run by someone else, my machine can handle it, however, a planet's surface doesn't look to great on my machine.
Thanks! You haven't played on planets? Missing out man!
