Even though skyrim/obv has a fast travel option some of those long ass dungeons are somewhat of a pain to get back out of sometimes

True but if your like me, trying to not use fast travel.. a good magic alternative is good

Mark and Recall were far more useful in Morrowind due to the general lack of fast travel and no mounts. You couldn't fast travel to and from dungeons, so what you did was Mark the dungeon, use one of the two Intervention spells to teleport to a nearby town, sell off your goods, gear up, and then Recall. With the mounts and fast travel system common to newer games, this is no longer so vital. In Morrowind you WALKED everywhere.

@Ragnaman Actually, I was planning on making Fast Travel require some kind of energy or have some kind of drawback. Say, a magicka drain, depending on the distance, and if you don't have enough magicka for that distance, your equipped gear gets left behind (excluding deadric artifacts and quest items.)

@Xpress: Fast travel ruined Oblivion and Skyrim...In my honest opinion.

When I first played Oblivion it seemed amazing and magical...and then I realised I can just fast travel...The game felt "Bland" and "Dry" after that.

I am looking for mods that actually disable the fast travel. There are still carriages so where is the problem ? Not to mention you can have horses (with a mod that improves their speed by a tad bit). + if you mod with "True Compass" + "Explore Skyrim" the game becomes great again.

Sorry if it was mentioned before, but is there use for it with all that fast travel? In Morrowind it was very helpful because you could travel only on foot or you could buy a strider, and mark-recall was awesome for questing in guilds etc, but here it's not so useful imo.

@BouBouRziPorC The mod is set up not to work in places where you can't normally use fast travel but it was done in such a way that if you have a "disable fast travel" mod you can't use the spells anywhere. I have a Divine Intervention mod that works with or without such mods, but apparently that's set up differently.

I love it when people bring back Morrowind spells, morrowind has the best spells of the series.

this majorly helps when you got a crap load of stuff for killing off all the bad guys or castle guards and youve whiped out every takeble thing and dont wanna walk back and forth or you had to drop everything but a few and dont wanna walk the trip every time to that odd spot

so does this actually work in say a dungeon where i want to markt he start, get to the end, clear and recall. Or does this only work outside? is it going to break the game?

It also contains a working open lock spell that unlocks all locks below your alteration level. Plus some Master Conjuration spells that allow you to summon 7 skeletons at once, and potentially summon 17 skeletons :D.
