it hasn't been working for me... I've got various places I can teleport to but I can't use it, even if I can be beamed up by my ship.. it just beeps at me..

I did somehow get this mod to crash my game, I activated the relay in midair on the outpost place and everything just went down, I don't have a log with me, sorry ;~;

Looks like this one broke from trying to do a variable conversion that Starbound didn't like, possibly early in the code. Might be a simple fix after all.

Can confirm not working in 1.3 or 1.3.1, clicking to activate the Relay does nothing. At least it dosen't crash the game like other mods have been recently.

From what I can tell it does still try to teleport if me are somewhere that blocks it from working. If underground it makes the failed to work sound effect, but does nothing when it should be able to work.

make it more expensive maybe something like
- 3000 to 5000 pixles
- 3 to 5 teleporter cores

Aw, thanks guys. I just wish I could put in a 'beam from wherever to planet under my ship' button, but I couldn't find a way to get that location from the luas.

The value this mod adds to my moment-to-moment gameplay is huge. I save a lot of time and traveling from and to different planets is far more handy than without it. Thank you so much for making this mod.

@Thundercraft I mostly brought up my point to the idea of having it be a large sum of pixels or 10 upgrade modules in order to get it, especially since it only amounts to extra convenience. I don't have any large issue with the Teleporter Core suggestion, as I don't see that as expensive at all since I have over 20 myself.

Truthfully, the only problem I have with the idea of making it need a Teleporter Core is that it doesn't feel right, since this acts like a relay. The Teleporter Core, to me, denotes an item that actually does teleporting, meanwhile this is mostly just like a remote control for your own ship's teleporter. It doesn't do the teleporting, just tells your ship teleporter to bounce your signal elsewhere whenever it does.

I would point out that the purchase of a Ship Teleporter Relay is a one-time investment . Unlike actual Teleporters, which are not portable as they will be destroyed when broken down. Also, Teleporter Cores are rare, but not that rare. I have a stack of almost 20 on my ship and I've used several to buy several Teleporters.

If it really bugs some to have a Teleporter Core requirement, it could require something else, like Tech Cards. I mean, after we've unlocked our techs, what good are they? I have a huge stack of them which I never use. Same with Matter Manipulator Modules. And I keep finding more

I don't really think this needs to include a teleporter core as part of it's recipe, as I see it as more of a remote to control the teleporter already on your ship. I also don't see this as broken, just time-saving.

@Foreck @Thundercraft I don't really see this as that end-game of an item, or really anything that should be uber-expensive. At most, I feel like it should cost slightly more than it does to get a placeable teleporter, perhaps a teleporter core and 6k pixels, or some other, very moderate materials.
The mod itself doesn't provide you with any massive advantage other than to reduce how many loading screens you have to go through in the end. You can't teleport through background walls or while underground, so any place you're able to use this, you can beam back to your ship anyway and use that teleporter. This is just an item of convenience, not really of power. To make it end-game would basically just be like how they made the ore-detector from near-endgame materials, which is to say somewhat redundant.
