I see it says don't download but I recently rebooted my old heavily modded Skyrim and this still seems to be working just fine

to me, the bones weigth are 8 kg. why?

the reason for heavy bones is its is a dragon. if u follow any lore you might find out that dragons have very tough bones and scales and that is why certain weapons are better since they penetrate the scale. plus you don't know if it is a group of bones or 1 bone.

I'm guessing since the newest DLC came out and Skyrim was patched up that that is what is making this mod no longer work properly? It was great until then mate.

What I don't understand, why did bethesda make them so heavy? In the real world, anything that can essentially fly has very light weight bones so wouldn't dragons have very light bones also. This mod does make sense but what needs to be done also is the weight of the weapons and armor to fit with the weight of the bones and scales.

DAWNGUARD INCOMPATIBLE - confirming Seferz's summation of this mod causing crashes with Dawnguard.

im new to using mods on steam so how do i download a mod?

caution. With dawnguard installed, this mod causes crashes. After severe testing, it was found that this mod with dawnguard causes 100% of the time a crash in the beginning at your beheading when the dragon appears. Unknown if other crashes occur in dawnguard, but it is possible anytime a dragon interacts, you might crash. Not sure what is causing the problem, but likely has something to do with the new dragonbone items, and changes in legendary dragons.

@moses019 Look at it this way, when you hit subscribe it puts up a little flag for your Skyrim loader to see, when it does it cues the mod for download. Depending on your internet connection it could take quite a while to download a mod, even a simple tweak like this. If you have good internet and still get nothing it may be a folder issue and it doesn't know where to put the files.

hi again. im not running skse afaik as i dont know what it is. i only have 2 mods so it cant be that. I launch skyrim through steam. i just went into the root directory steam>steamapps>common>skyrim and then double click skyrim launcher. still no mods? i check Data files and all it says is Skyrim.esm. any computer whizz know the problem?

Are you using the skse? THat loader bypasses the official loader where the mods are downloaded.
