@GI1TcH!mg G@M3R: No. These skin are not intended to be "HD", just cleaned up versions of the default textures. It's outside the goals of the addon.

To get more technical: You can't just "edit the resolution" and have a better texture, you'll just end up with a larger texture without any of the detail or sharpness of a proper 4k texturing job. The textures have to be remade to benefit from a resolution increase - which I have no interest in doing.

is Ellis day one have a new HD texture or is his shirt just cleaned up entirely only?
like does his shirt have a HQ HD new texture? is it included with day one for the survivors?

I know this mod's really old by this point but I have to ask: is there any way to fix the very visible seam on his right wrist? i notice this doesn't happen with the vanilla texture and i'm just wondering how valve fixed it/avoided it, and if it can be fixed on this one

it honestly feels so fucking weird seeing the L4D survivors being clean like I'm so use to the filth and grime by now but I really like this reskin, good work!

Well that's how it worked when I installed some texture mods so maybe those are just exceptions to the rule. Maybe I should try it out then.

@Black_Buddha: Sorry but that's not how it works. None of the textures on any characters were removed, just edited. The textures are the same resolution as the defaults so performance should be the same as default.

will this and other day one skins increase performance? im asking since these reskins remove a lot of the textures on the survivors so im assuming less visuals more framerate

Could you make Ellis fully dressed in his boilersuit?? To dress his torso as well as his pants. Torso and legs are whole clothes, joined together.

It would be really cool if the characters started out neat and clean and the more damage you take the more wear and tear would show. Same with swampy water and stuff it would be cool if they got muddy and things like that. Looks great btw. :)

Lol, I attempted to make a retexture of Ellis cleaning him up and getting rid of the stains on his clothes and face back in Feburary, didn't release it because I felt it wasn't as good as I hoped. Anyways, fantastic job on this good sir, you truly work wonders!
