Very impressive creativity ! But a litle difficult to use. Thanks for creating

Very enjoyable map, only improvement I would suggest is moving the tubes closer, its annoying to always zoom.

took me a while to get the hang of it but lots of fun when I did. it's a bit awkward to target the portal surfaces beneath the vents though from the scales

Just so you know it isn't obvious witht he vents being so far way that you can portal to them. Just thought I should let you know to help. :)

Didn't have a problem with the blobs (well, not much of one) which were fun. I was excited to try the pulley system but gave up for the same reasons everyone else is saying - too difficult to get portals where you need them, when you need them and I can't even call the fling a "ninja skill", it's something higher than ninja (;

At risk of starting a flamewar, this is kind of like Democrats and Republicans. Please don't respond to this!

I test every map without using quicksave to see if it's good. This map failed the test due to being tedious due to trying to get across the goo using the blobs (please, please, PLEASE, use an autosave already!!). It's a little confusing to figure out exactly how to do it. Also, it was hard to portal underneath the diversity vents. Finally, it appears a bit of ninja skill is needed for the fling at the end.

Nice test! Thx! ;)

Great concept, hawwible execution.
I know it's probably the engine's fault, but I just gave up before reaching the end. The solution is obvious, the execution is impossible (Awkward shooting angles, extreme ninja skills, dynamic results)
Yet, you're still R#, so I'll love your maps no matter what <3

Got Totally Fed Up Trying!

Very interesting I like the concept

In addition to what ǝsnοɯ said, I would like to make a suggestion. It's very difficult to correctly place the portals beneath the vents when on the pully system. Perhaps you could move the vents to a place where they're more easily accessable? Or better yet, add a second pair of vents in the middle of the pool of goo(but obviously not in the way of the gels).

I get the general idea of the blobs but they seem pretty buggy. But it's the pully system that really makes you rage. Not because it's hard to understand what you're supposed to do but because it's hard to get the physics to behave themselves long enough for you to fling yourself. And it's the push and pull the blobs part that makes it very obvious why portal needs a button to close your portals.

Stumbled in the manner of the Drunken Master, then!
Rand0mNumbers  [ophavsmand] 31. maj 2012 kl. 21:23
Stumbled? PAH! This was planned. I was sitting on the pulley system for months. Then one day I jumped in and built it in an hour...with another hour of tweaking and complaining about the engine..
Le Petit Mort 31. maj 2012 kl. 21:08
More clever, more fun; you might even have stumbled upon a second use for the Pnumatic Deversity Vent.
Rand0mNumbers  [ophavsmand] 31. maj 2012 kl. 18:32
The blue one boosts jumping and the orange one lets you float across. One affects jumping, the other, speed. If you are having trouble with the jump, use the red X I put on the floor as a reference (that's where I tend to jump).

I usually make quicksaves whenever there is goo around, just to be on the safe side. So, I did not believe autosaves were necessary.
falconfetus8 31. maj 2012 kl. 17:28
What the hell are you supposed to do with the gels? Sometimes they make me jump, other times they don't. Also, since you're using Hammer, why didn't you add any checkpoints?
spottty 29. maj 2012 kl. 15:49
thx for the help
GTO™ 29. maj 2012 kl. 10:31
Хорошая идея для испытания!
Rand0mNumbers  [ophavsmand] 29. maj 2012 kl. 0:04
One vent will pull, the other will push. The gels don't go into the vents.
spottty 28. maj 2012 kl. 22:34
how do you get the gel in the vents?? i can't move em?
spottty 28. maj 2012 kl. 22:33
how do you use the blue and red blobs
???????????????????????????????????
o+= 28. maj 2012 kl. 4:13
Difficulty 6/10
Fun 7/10

The gel balls were confusing to use not having used them before.
Warbear 27. maj 2012 kl. 13:12
Interesting. I like the way your mind works!
Rand0mNumbers  [ophavsmand] 27. maj 2012 kl. 11:08
Use the vents to push and pull things.
Amaroq Leareth 27. maj 2012 kl. 10:38
So... what exactly are we suppossed to be doing?
16Bitman 23. maj 2012 kl. 10:56
Just managed to beat it, it was a really great map, I just didn't see the vents on my first try.
Great job!
Rand0mNumbers  [ophavsmand] 22. maj 2012 kl. 22:18
The blobs are blobs of their respectively colored paint. So, the blue one affects jumping and the orange one affects speed. It was another "I wonder if this entity works" type of map.
Nefnoj 22. maj 2012 kl. 19:45
Yay! You used the thingies I love again!

So what are the little floaty thingies supposed to do? I solved the test, but I was just guessin' my way through, (not to imply that it was too easy, it was perfect!)
Rand0mNumbers  [ophavsmand] 22. maj 2012 kl. 10:48
Use the vents.
16Bitman 22. maj 2012 kl. 9:59
How do I move the gel?
