@boldlybuilding would you reconsider fixing this asset.? Lots of creators love this piece of art and would love to include it in our cities. If your not up to doing so, would you consider giving permission to another creator to fix this so that we can all enjoy. Thanks

PLEASE FIX THIS MOD. This mod is the best Sears tower mod on the workshop and when it broke I almost went down in tears. Owner please try to fix it because all the other mods dont have the same feel as this one does

this should get this asset to work with everything including sunset harbor. no missing buildings no load err. it should work fine being that you meet the requirements.

there is a problem with the sub buildings please update for sunset harbor.

hey, i think sunset harbor broke this mod, its one of my favs and its hasnt been working after i got sh dlc.

@boldlybuilding no this isn't the first time that I've used the sub buildings mod. Its apart of a few assets. I actually ended starting my Chicago city from scratch when I upgraded computers and it still did'nt show. Hopefully we can figure it out because its the most detailed version of the sears on the workshop.

Was that the first time you were using the sub-buildings mod? If so, did you reboot the game after enabling it?

@boldlybuilding I love the detail in this asset but the entire building won;t shop up even with the mod enabled. The base of the building is there just not the tower. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks for the time.

Sub to the Sub-Buildings Enabler mod, enable the mod in the mods menu, quit and restart the game, then try it

Boldly i have fixed it so the sub building mod is no longer required, i can send it you. Though tbh it's a couple of mins, basically loading the base and then the others as sub buildings, moving them into place with move it (snapping) then right clicking to rotate them a full 360 just so the position locks into place when you save.

The lunchbox entrance is gone, the Skydeck pavilion/entrance is gone. The first floor or so of the new surrounding structure going up, and holes are cut into the side of the tower to accommodate the beams of the new structure. By now it's probably even further along. If you saw it 2 months ago, you were probably among the last to see the tower before the old entrances were demolished.

Really? When did they do that? I was just in Chicago two months ago and it was fine :P

Not anymore, sadly. They've torn down everything around the base, including the "lunchbox" atrium and Skydeck pavilion, and are now in the process of building a several-floor "mall" and entrance structure surrounding the entire base. Whether I'll ever do a version of this with the new construction, I don't know.

I have went to chicago many times, even lived in Downers Grove [www.google.com] and I can say this looks very accurate.

Too bad it doesn't have the little glass boxes, that would've been cool. An epic asset nonetheless

It doesn't need to be fixed, it still works. If someone only has one part, either they haven't subbed to the sub-buildings mod, or haven't enabled the mod and/or rebooted the game, or the mod's broken or there's some other issue or conflict out of my control. I may eventually update with a version that uses the game's built-in sub-building system.

Some people, like myself, are reporting that only the base shows up. I don't see the building at all. What boggles the mind is that nobody else has a 1.5 version of this incredibly iconic skyscraper available on the workshop!
