This is one of my fav aesthetic mods/period details for this game! I wish there was at least one monitor screen that randomly rotates paused games like Doom or 3D Space Cadet Pinball every chapter restart to show somebody in the office was slacking off lol

My first OC and just the same old comp., there were also a lot of blue errors of deathscreens, reboots and the comp. just stopped working - wasers days

For people saying Half Life 1 happens around 2003, it doesn't. That was Laidlaw's canon, which was thrown away with Half Life Alyx (Along with the original HL3).

Valve has always stated that canonically, Half Life happens in '98. Hence, this is by far the most accurate to the modern Half Life storyline.

Best one for black mesa. Also, I don't think you need to replace the BMS logo rotating. It'd be nice if that were kept because even if this is windows 98. They can still have their own company screensaver.

Personally I don't care if this is accurate to the story or not. I'm using this for nostalgia, because I had win 98 when I first played Half Life.

To everyone who says "this isn't accurate for the time period", let me remind you that there is THIS [vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net] . This is possibly a clue to 'The Pizza Code Mystery', an ARG for Black Mesa. The OS on that screenshot looks quite similar to 95. That means that the other computers in the building would most likely have the same OS. I reccomend getting this addon for consistency's sake.
