It would make excellent Magnum model replacement, mainly due to the 8 round cylinder when usint .38...

@ ❄Snowy PandaCat❄: Unfortunately I don't have the animations anymore. The rigging I used in these animations was from my automatic revolver mod, which in turn got it from earlier version of this addon. The old animations in the files were either modified or totally remade in process.

Personally I prefer these animations (especially reload animation. The ammo cartridges have separate bones. Old version had every cartridge bound to one pair of bones.).

Still, I can understand your personal preference and hope you'll become accustomed to the new anims. Rolling back to the old ones unfortunately isn't possible anymore.

no, is just that there was another animation for the gun then it changed, its good but I miss the old animatiom

The Webley Mk.4, ahh this is an old revolver that's a top break. Oh the joys and history behind such a simple and small firearm.

It's a good target gun and fun to reload, plus there's a low recoil. . .

Sorry, if my previous answer seemed salty. Was in hurry and wanted to answer quickly so I didn't forget to do that.

@ SIXX: The last shot animation looks different because I tried to give players (that don't look at ammo counter) visual cue when they're fired their last shot (not so different from slide locking back with Desert eagle). Loss of recoil is because the character fight against it (note slight downward angle). I might revise it later though.

OVER THE TOP BOYS

the running animation is improved...much better than before....the shooting animation needs some tweaking...especially the last shot....it doesn't have recoil. good job however...animating is not that simple

Of course, overall I think it's a fine gun mod, if the recoil were toned down I'd certainly like to use it. I'm not sure how modding for L4D2 works really, can you change the recoil animation? A webley certainly wouldn't be jacking the shooter's hand up 90 degrees at the elbow.
