I'll try a full purge on the server, and client, resubscribe, and see if that doesn't sort any issues.
Maybe try using this tool by darkdks?

I've been using it for my server for a while and is working perfectly.
Please double check your server is setup correctly.

Looks like it's not on my end considering the map does work if you subscribe to the map.
Hmm weird...I wonder if that's a universal issue on other servers.
Did they try subscribing to the map on workshop or maybe verifying the game cache?
And does it only say "error opening file" ?
It's difficult to decrease the file size of the map any farther unless I delete some decorations.
I think the error is not caused by the file size.
I have played updated version of the map on a server with multiple people.
Most of the people joined the server without a problem but some were kicked out.
I'm assuming they have old version of the map in the cache folder.
Deleting the cache folder should fix the issue.

That's probably due to the large file size of the map.
It happens sometimes for me too when the server switches to next map that I haven't played before.
I renamed the filename back to KF-C28.kfm with the latest update.
And I won't be changing the filename in the future updates.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
Okay I'll stick to one file name from now on.
Once one of the admins told me that I should put version numbers in filename when I update my maps.I've been doing it since then.
Thanks for the reminder.
