I love the mod, Looks sick! I would, however, love to see the brightness of the crate itself slightly dimmed, or some way to adjust it, similar to how S+ does with their torches :)

My eyes are normal, but this mod makes for less confusion. And it looks good, too. Kinda high tech neon/laser colors. Less time wasted chasing down fake reds. If there is any way to add a sparkle effect to the red, that would be even better. But I'm splitting hairs. Great mod!

defaults to island drops if I remember correctly.

We have it on a Rag server. Would the drops still have the same loot table as regular Rag drops? AKA will it have the SE stuff and typical Rag drop contents, or will it default to the Island drop list?

I would have to remake the whole thing, it's SUPER not hard though anyone could do it with a spare couple hours.

even github doesn't save the GUID that you need to properly update a mod though. as far as i'm aware there's no way for me to update this mod in-particular as I've been through a couple computers since making this.

Maybe I can make a quick youtube tutorial once I chill on my extension map

@Steel that's a shame. Would you have to code from the ground up to make any changes then? Or do you have access elsewhere? (You should try github, it's awesome for saving code and keeping a change log)

@Steel referencing the loot table thing. I found that on Scorched earth it does alter the loot table. Giving Wood components instead of Adobe.

It doesn't alter loot tables at all. You can use the loot modifier settings but you have to look at the pinned discussion.

Any update to the loot table? Does this work with loot modifier settings?

I'm having issues seeing between yellow and green coloured beams. Can you make the colours configurable? For example change green to grey instead so yellow stands out?

For me the yellow/green blue/purple are hard to tell but the red and white help alot (But all you really need is the red)

@Malibloo: I totally agree with you, Ive got the same type of colorblindness and I just can't see it. I don't mind the beacons that much, but I prefer the obelisks colors to be changed. I keep flying to the green obi when my base is at the red one.

I'm colorblind and I still can't see a proper difference between yellow and green, and blue and purple. There's still no way for me to figure what drop is what from a distance. The worst part is that I have the most common colorblindness; deuteranopia, and this mod doesn't help me in the slightest. Misadvertisement much?

Thank you for making this. I am colorblind and the red and yellow drops were hidden to me and I reported an abnormal amount of bugs saying that random drops were floating down. After I installed this I realized it wasn't a bug it was just me being Aspergers (no joke) and colorblind.

Any change you could work on an HUD for us colorblind players. I currently use ReHUD, but it is stil hard for me to use. I would like more contrast between the background of the stat and the current Health/Stamina/Hunger/Thirst level. Thanks if you have time and the know how.

Sorry, after looking into this directly, the beams show, but not the spinning "boxes". It seems to be happening to all of the supply beacons... the normal ones your mod handles, and the bonus double ones.

Also, before this patch... the ringed beacons didn't show the color blind beams... or the ring... but the description still showed a "+". So, the vanilla beams and the "+" is how we're able to spot the "double" supply drops.

FYI, today's Fear 2 update has made the supply drop beams from this mod invisible. The glow is there, but the beam and the spinning "box" are invisible. :(

And yeah I definitely do have eventual plans to switch up the beam effects. All in all i'd really like to actually create 12 distinct drops instead of just 6. Right now there's just _double versions of each color but if I could bring myself to actually invest time into doing anything I could create distinct effects for each drop.

Sorry to hear that. This is a VERY useful and needed mod for colorblind players. Another option you may want to play with after this next update, is to change the particle beam on some of them so they're even more distinguishable. For example, look at the Marker Beams mod. I think some of those you could stack inside the current ones. Thanks!
