@blizzards, I don't really know. Steam is weird sometimes, you might just have to give it a bit and it'll fix itself. If not, or if you're too eager to wait, you can download it manually via the Steam Workshop Downloader (google it!), that should work fine if you drop the files in the right place.

@Giga Phoenix, ♥♥♥♥. That's something I wish someone had told me about a year ago. Unfortunately, I think I deleted Civ 5 and the modding tools from my computer, and I've probably forgotten most of how to mod the game, so I doubt there's a fix for it coming soon, sorry.

Hm pretty sure nobody has mentioned this, but in my all Super Civs game that I play in multiplay with packs... Deadpool weirdly gets Joker's Clown instead of his own great genreal, also the Clown does not get any Str boost ever when this happens, leaving you with a 8 str great genral, who also can not make a citidal. And this happens everytime he shoul get a genral, never getting his unique genral, or a normal one.

@spacewolfcub, no idea then! I'm not sure I can fix that problem for ya, sorry. Maybe it's just for Iron Man or something, I dunno. Best of luck though, hope it doesn't ruin the game.

Yup. I got the bundle with all the DLCs. (shrug) They all have green checks next to them. Maybe it's that all the *other* DLCs are active too.

@spacewolfcub, oh, make sure you have both DLCs: G+K and BNW. There will be problems if you don't I'm pretty sure. If you don't have them/don't want to use them, then you can download individual civs from my mods that will more likely work without one or the other.

If it's working for everyone else, then maybe it's some other DLC messing with your mod. I still liked the idea, thanks for making it.

@spacewolfcub, I uploaded Part 1 as just the whole package at first, then had to split it into Part 2 later. But that's a really odd problem I've never seen before :/

I just got the game, and I have never installed anything except parts 1 and 2 of this mod. Part 1 says it is a version much older than the version number on part 2, though. Could that be the problem? I downloaded them at the same time, but maybe there is a different part 1 with a later version number?

@spacewolfcub, huh, no, that sounds like some sort of bug or mod conflict. Just fyi, my mod is NOT compatible with Enhanced User Interface (or any other mod which alters the unit panel UI element, probably). A lot of people miss that, and I guess I underestimated how many people use EUI when I made the decision to break compatability with it :/ If you don't use EUI, then it might be another mod you're using, especially one that alters the in-game UI.

I did try this in single player, but the buttons for unit orders for the Stark empire have the wrong text, the wrong icon, and I just click and pray hoping the buttons do what I mean for them to. Is the mod meant to only be played in a specific Age in the timeline?

@spacewolfcub, yeah Civ 5 doesn't really support multiplayer with mods, so I've no idea if these mods work well with whatever workarounds there are.

I'm actually playing Civ5. I tried to use these two mods to start a multiplayer game and it didn't work. I'll try them in single player, though.

@spacewolfcub, don't die on me just yet! If you're waiting for the Civ 6 mods, well, there's a bug where having more than one modded district makes it so that all but the first can't build any buildings in those districts... which is crippling in a mod where I have like 1/3 of the civs using custom districts. Hopefully it's fixed with the new expansion, though! Speaking of, I'll have to redo some of the stuff I've already made to be compatible with/use the stuff introduced in that expansion.

@hernando, guhhhhh, really hard to say. Been making steady progress, but I'm just one guy working on it, alongside work, etc. I have a few civs/leaders around 95% done aside from testing, but there are many more that aren't finished in one ore more areas.

@Volatile Fox, I don't think any of the packs would work without BNW, but some of the individual civs MIGHT work. Off the top of my head (and don'tquote me, I haven't tested any of these) Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Zatanna, Iron Man, Black Panther, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, Black Adam, Zod, Sinestro, Joker, Doom, Magneto, Loki, Emma Frost, Red Skull, Venom, Elektra.

Keep in mind, any or even all of these might have 1 or 2 small things that they use from BNW that can cause a crash. I'd load them up one by one and see if they break the civ selection screen. Also keep in mind that even if one doesn't, it might still crash (or just not work) in-game from problems with the lua code. The earlier-released civs I mentioned will be much more likely to work for you (Bats, Supes, WW, Iron Man, Lex, Deathstroke, Adam, Doom, Magneto, Loki, Emma)

I was using G&K only and it seems it need both. When i used both it was fine.

@Volatile Fox, maaaan, I don't know what's causing problems for people! Everything works fine on my end, I get no crashes to desktop. As an immediate thought, are you using both G+K and BNW? With the Complete Pack, not using BOTH will cause all sorts of problems.

If you are using both, please try to enable logging, load the game and play until it crashes, and please send me the xml, lua, and database logs. You can use any number of file repository sites, mediafire, github, google docs, whatever you prefer.

hi i tried out your mods.they are wonderfully done but there are some issues im experiencing.I cant scroll to select the civ leader so i have to choose batman as he is the only one i can select without scrolling .Also like vladan here the game keeps crashing on a specific turn.plz rply

@Vladan, ok, well I don't think anything in the Database log is causing a crash; I checked, and those are just G+K trying to update those civs, but finding that they don't exist in the database. But they don't cause any crashes. If the cause of the crash is gonna be in the logs, it'll probably be in the XML or Lua logs.

If you haven't already, I'd say to try verifying the integrity of the game's cache via steam, and failing that, maybe uninstalling/reinstalling, assuming the crash isn't happening when you're trying to load mods. Beyond that, unless it's something obviously documented in the logs, I don't think that I can do much to help you. Try taking your problem to the CivFanatics forums, and see if you can find an answer there, they're good people.

@Vladan, If you could provide more info, I could give you a more concise answer. When exactly is it crashing? When you try to start a game with mods or without? Or maybe just trying to enable mods? Upon the game starting, before you get to the top menu? What DLCs do you have? You said you have G&K, but did you go out and buy BNW between your last comments? Do you have and have installed any or all of the standalone DLCs, such as Denmark, Korea, etc?

@Vladan, I don't know why that error is coming up for you. I suppose the easy fix would be to buy/install all the DLC that exists aside from G+K and BNW, namely the additional civs, as referenced in your error logs there. And for the record, no that reference (or your lack of the referenced mod) is not the cause of the problem.

It sounds like EITHER a mod you have enabled is looping through or referencing every Firaxis-made civilization; this doesn't happen often, for good reason, the only reason I can think of is for something like a mod to deactivate all base-game civs so that you can play with only modded civs (which I use, but I have the gold edition); OR the game itself is failing to load the DLC you have (or don't, which woudl be weirder), the easy way to tell that is if you start a non-modded game and it gives you the same errors and crashes; the only way to fix something like that would be to verify the cache or uninstall/reinstall the game and/or DLCs.
