I don't think my staff are using the sauna at all. What should I do?

Yes it's working fine. Press the + in the objects menu, it's roomspecific.

- fixed invisible bench sprite after clink_1.0 game update
- Sauna Bench now has custom sprite showing which direction the seats go, so you can easily see how to rotate it.
- added Sauna Bench (Small) so you can now make a tiny sauna as well.

Yes, of course. It does the thing (warms). The problem is that the bench is invisible. Seems like it used a standard sprite, and after the Jun-2019 update the built-in spritesheet has been changed/broken, I don't know.

Hi. Prisoners do not use the sauna but staff do. It is easily accesable for prisoners so idk what's going on help?

Nice thought, but not possible to mod. The long answer: new objects cannot be connected to water pipes, only existing ones can. And there is also no way to not be able to place an object on the map except in a specific room, since zoning rooms and placing objects are two separate things.

Here's a thought, then. What about an item, similar to a radiator, called Sauna Rocks, which require a hot-water pipe to function (again, like a radiator), but which simply produce many times the effect, and can only be placed in the sauna room?

Use my CombiPack mod for room icons. Warmth is little moddable, it cannot be attached to hot water pipes or something like that...

And yes, indoors it can cause overheating. Just place a sauna bench in an indoors hallway and it will be steaming hot.

Is there any way this could create some sort of effect, similar to Overheating, that prevents warmth need from accumulating for a while after use? Also, is it possible to add some kind of hot-water requiring "steam rocks" or similar to make it a little less... automatic?

Could also use a room icon and some colored flooring.

Unreachable for modding, otherwise that would have been implemented already :)

Wow this is a hit, all my cooks are running to the sauna. It's freezing cold in my kitchens due to a trench which keeps it cool... Mod update coming soon :)

They only go when they have Warmth needs, so dismantle radiators and don't give them warm showers if you want them to use the sauna.

And to simply spawn some dummy prisoner sprite with towels and deleting the prisoner itself would also be a bad idea :p I see no way on how it could be done without mod access to the needed table which contains this data.

Most likely not, since the prisoners name, skin, head type, age, reputation, traits, sentence, clemency, etcetera, are all saved in the Bio table of the prisoner in the savedgame. This part of the prisoner is unreachable for modding. Prisoners are quite shielded when it comes to modding, we can't even let them navigate to somewhere by scripting. Making a skin with towels would mean that some prisoners will always wear a towel as soon as they arrive at the prison up to the moment they are released.

I don't want them to be naked, I get that. I am asking if it is possible to design a skin, that gives them the appearance of wearing a towel that could work with your mod.

No, because a skin mod works differently than making a prisoner naked... Too bad, not possible. The naked value is unreachable for modding, I guess this has its reasons.

@Vixen making prisoners naked seems not reachable for modding. There is a Naked property on prisoners, but it always returns nil and can't be set.

Perhaps, but making the prisoner nude isn't moddable. Anyway they will love a 110C sauna with sweaty smelly warm clothes on. They are real men. They also drink grog.

65 Celsius? Da fuck? Propper sauna has a temperature around 80-120C.

my android (this android is way outdated lol) is often over heated and it reach 60C and it feel very hot. i wonder if the prisoner(s) is ok in there

Yeah well with higher degrees the thing would start to show colours from red to blue and back to red and so on. But the way it works now it seems to do very little. Perhaps I should bring it back to its state where it was taking care of Warmth instead of Comfort what it does now... Or just point to prison-exchange.com where you can download the previous version of this mod xD

Ahh. I just made an electric heaters mod because I was tried of putting boilers around the whole map, and this update just messed us all up.
