Here's a couple errors I noticed a while ago:
KeyValues Error: RecursiveLoadFromBuffer: got } in key in file materials/models/weapons/br10/charge_handle.vmt Vertexlitgeneric
KeyValues Error: RecursiveLoadFromBuffer: got } in key in file materials/models/weapons/br10/lower_reciver.vmt Vertexlitgeneric
Both VMT's:
$rimmask 1 1 //This line is my guess as to what's causing the recursive load.
IIRC, To mask rim lighting you need a phong exponent texture ($phongexponenttexture) with the mask in it's alpha channel. Same with $phongalbedotint except tint info is in the green channel.
There is no need for $normalmapalphaphongmask.
Delete $nocull so textures are not drawn on non-visble faces.
Thanks again for this mod. I was getting bored of the m16a4 and can't stand the iron sights on it.
