there seems to be a few redundent techs EX. two large solar panels one gives +5 energy and is a standalone tech and One gives +10 and is part of initial 'bundle' soler panel tech. i only test one mod at a time so you might want to check great mod anyway good for pumping out ships with the shipyards while fighting the Fallen.

For the benefit of anyone else;
This used to play well with the new ship mods but as of 1.5 it doesn't seem to. I had to remove all space stations, remove the mod and only then could I research Lvl 6 stations.

Looking at the details of this mod, I am not sure why it shouldn't work with 1.3 as is. It only adds things and to my knowledge 1.3 did not change how spaceport modules work in any fundamental ways. So it may just need to be marked as updated.

I am missing this mod after the patch release today, since this mod makes space stations so much more varied and fun :-)

I'm not sure if this belongs here but in my multiplayer game my friend notices that in sectors the ai does not build the (example) huge variants of solar panel. it builds the small variant and even if he builds all modules by himself, the AI replaces the huge variants with the tiny ones. his sector has enough resources to build the huge versions. so why is this happening? We are not using any AI-altering mods.

i saw another mod which added more spaceport modules.
Would your mod by chance be compatible with other mods like your own?

There is a mod out here which allows you to define your stations defenses, i think it also was online one change in a file. Anyways with that or mod like that which would also increase the available slots to put shields and weapons in it you may get what you want. Just search a little in the mods.

i am really enjoying this mod, it is an essential in my list.

wd be cool if you could add a shieldgenerator of some type, which maybe could be used after researching shields tech 2.

First let me tell you overall i love this mod, but i have a small critique:

Why the mineral upkeep for 'huge'/Tier 4 solar cells? It goes quite out of the common theme within this mod. Even with the best conversion rate in mind, you then get actually only about 13.5 Energy, so why not just have it give us 13 Energy? As in many games i use energy to push my mineral output and therefor i take all mines available, the efficiency is nromaly even worse, so 2:1, would cost me 3.5 Energy upkeep to gain the minerals needed for this upkeep and then i am at an output return of 11.5 Energy which is just slightly better then the previous Tier 3.
When i then take into consideration, time to built all the prequesite stations and minerals to do so and time to micro these actions, Tier 4 becomes if only slightly better in the very very long run, but definetly a hustle to get them going.

This mod causes an access violation CTD for me for some reason. Through isolating every single mod that I currently use, I found out that my save game crashes every time at the exact same in-game date whenever this mod is turned on.

This mod is running my empire. Huge solar panels + large + medium on every station around every planet is keeping my empire above water.
