Question, what was the map used in the 3rd picture?

baronjutter- Also keep in mind this is 2 assets in one so the 5.8 file size does not represent only one file.

baronjutter- I experiment with lower resolutions and found that 512 looks bad in game. Because of the way this game renders textures, it's a challenge to get crisp looking skins so larger sized images are necessary sometimes. Keep in mind that in game, LODs are shown more than main models so performance is not really taking a hit especially with trees.

Very pretty, but why is the file size so big?? Any chance to get 512x versions to save on memory? Or are there issues with lower quality textures not displaying right on fine items like these?

I love all of your trees and shrubs, MrMaison- this is my single favourite asset on Workshop which I use for all of my cities. It is perfect for wild grass verges out in the hinterland, and as well as great ornamental screening which looks fitting in gentrified urban areas.

Nice work, as someone said before it looks great in the farmland areas for filler. At a distance it looks like corn stalks or cat o nine tails.

does it lower the fps?
U.N.V.S.U. 11 MAY 2016 a las 4:31

Thanks again everyone!

Iceman380- Yes, I still plan to make fallen trees and stumps.

grizzbear- I made this in a Temperate map. I have Classic Daylight and I think it's just the Temperate LUT in those scenes. I also use Dynamic Resolution mod but in moderation. To see foliage at further distances, use LOD Toggler but DO NOT leave it on all the time unless you have a really beefy system.

though i bet you have a way better pc than myself, i want a slice of that cake!
are you using some mod, that changes the look of the water? i am pretty sure, that "my water" is uglier ;)
MrMaison  [autor] 5 MAY 2016 a las 14:08
Oh...and no render issues.
MrMaison  [autor] 5 MAY 2016 a las 14:07
Thanks everyone!

@templeofdoom- Your grass is still top for most situations. These are very tall and I wouldn't place them in back yards :) unless you're growing some kind of farm.......

templeofdoom 5 MAY 2016 a las 13:30
PS - I just realized there are 2 assets packaged here. DOH! Thanks for your creation MrMaison! :)
templeofdoom 5 MAY 2016 a las 12:04
Wowzers. What amazing textures on this asset. This blows my variations out of the water! :) nice nice nice work MrMaison - quick question, with the asset & texture size are you seeing any rendering issues when plopping these? As in do you recommend watching out for that or do you find going hog-wild works well with this asset too? Thank you for creating this and can't wait to check this out in game! :)
Simulant 5 MAY 2016 a las 8:41
