The ingenuity in your mods is incredible, using the trade map mode to display federations is crazy smart. Big fan of all your mods but this one in particular really shows off a new level of creativity in how you can exploit existing mechanics to make a really impressive mod. @illlililiilili: Hm, I can't really see how that would happen. I suppose you can try using a run file (or save game editing) to set the specific variable to the correct value again.

I think something is malfunctioning.

Out of 5 countries, 4 support the reform, but it shows that -5 countries support it.

It seems that the reduction in member states from 10 to 5 has had an impact.

@illlililiilili: At best make a compatibility mod, so a mod that has both as dependency. Then create a file in common/diplomatic_actions that comes before both the other mods' files in alpabetical order (easiest is just slapping more 0s before the name), then copy the declarewar action of one of the mods and add the changes of the other to it.

@illlililiilili: That file, yes. From this mod's folder, so ...\steamapps\workshop\content\236850\660598924. Since everything in that file is purely for information display, it shouldn't affect the mod's functionality. Since I changed it to scripted gui, the game may report errors about the scripted elements missing. So you could also try to delete the custom_gui folder from the mod in common.

@Scotch: That wouldn't work. You would have to copy specific effects (e.g. for forming and joining a federation) and execute them for the specific tags at game start, best for that would probably be the on_startup on action (but make sure to set and not require havng a global flag, cause the on action also fires when loading a save game).

How would I set up any of the federations so that they exist, with electors and everything, at the start of the game? Not sure if this is even on the right track, but I tried setting two nations to have a pre-existing relationship in a federation in the file where all the pre-existing vassalships and whatnot are.

@skotland: Mostly depends the strength of neighbors compared to you. You need at least one neighbor that isn't your ally and has your army size or more. And of course you can't be in a federation or be a subject.

what determines who gets the "found a federation" decision? It seems random and most tags don't have the option, unless I'm just missing something

Hello, can you also make a mod for International Crisis from Victoria 2 for more international conflicts? This is great for having multiple world wars from victoria 2.

(I mean end date is 9999 in this mod and after WW3, there sould be more world wars like WW 4,5,6........ WW 49 :lunar2019grinningpig: like Victoria 2)

Also HOI 3 / HOI 4 like factions system like first 3 great powers or maybe faction leader not have to be first 3 great power because in WW2, even though USA is more advanced country, the UK was the leader of the ALLIES. And maybe minor nations can leaning towards to factions.

ALLIES, COMMUTERN, AXIS or maybe even

NATO, SHANGAI PACT, WARSAW PACT?

Moreover, creating your own faction, creating your own NATO like HOI 4.

However the effect is a bit limited, e.g. if they already were called to that war (e.g. because they are allies) and they didn't actually join (be it because they declined or the call was blocked e.g. because they wouldn't be able to join the war due to other wars against the same countries), then the effect doesn't do anything.

Hiya, does this mod still work? In my game members of a federation didn't get called to war when one of the members was attacked. Everything else works fine though.

Is it possible to create an italian only federation, like a long lasting italian league, or do you know a simlar mod that allows this? For example a mod with the pope as a leader and all the italian states in the federation.
