Guys, to fix this mod and play it again is very simple!

I don't wanna be pushy, but please fix this mod. It was one of my favorites and it's sad that it doesn't work anymore and creates an error for both the og game and the mod games at startup...

Just finished it. The very last part is a bit too cheap for my tastes. It spawns the monster right besides you, so either you run, or you just get hit. Of course, i remained still because i didn't want a chase sequence, he hit me once, i though he would move, but no, i spawned right beside him, and he didn't pay no mind to me. Now, i don't know exactly how much they react to sound, but i made half-footsteps to avoid any sounds at all. So he was just watching me and not moving. Swiped the panel, got into the elevator and swiped it again, very slowly.

Other than that, it's also too dark, but everything else is nice. Especially when the music stops playing before the end.

@Sex-Bazuka I remember explaining this to someone else as well, if you haven't used steam before and are just here for SOMA, then you want to click the subscribe button, have it fully download, click play on SOMA, click Play Mod when the small window appears, then a bigger blue window should appear with the option "play custom content", click that, then a list of mods will show up and you can select mine and play it.

From what I've played so far this is the best looking SOMA mod by far. The atmosphere really fits that one found in the game, maybe with the exception of how the 2nd monster was handled. I think the player should've got some warning about it and then have to navigate the corridors knowing there are two monsters, in the current state it just fells like a cheap jump-scare-ish thing. But besides that the mod is amazing.

@[PB]MoonAngelX I set the monster walk speed a little high, so when he becomes more agitated, he will probably walk and not chase you, but with the running animation instead because he's walking fast. So like I said, he probably followed because if you keep walking away from him, he'll hear you so he follows, and you keep walking away, so he still follows because of the noise your making with the footsteps. He walked toward you when he exited the room by the elevator probably like I said because he heard you moving or something.

@Aquamarine Actually, when the door opened, I didn't go through to the elevator. I did indeed see the monster run or walks out of the room, and instead, it walked up to me like, hey buddy how's it going :D. I didn't go to the elevator, but instead, I turned around and walked away and he followed me behind like he became my pet. I forgot to mention when he notices you and starts chasing you, the music will change, but for this one, he stared and followed me without having any music changes at all. And yes, I know those monsters are sensitive to sound and are blind, lol

@[PB]MoonAngelX Okay, so first, the monster doesn't have to instantly chase you when it opens the door, I didn't add that to the level. You can simply see the door opening, walk away, and the monster will walk across the area with the elevator, he'll only attack if you run around in his face. What probably happened though was that the monster didn't chase, and simply heard your footsteps, or an item you hit on the ground and followed you, and it probably heard you walking away from it, so it still follows you even more. If you didn't know, the monsters that I placed in the level are the monsters that are blind, and VERY sensitive to sound.

Just encountered a bug where I'm about to head to the elevator, where your monster comes out and walks up to me but didn't attack me at all, just followed me around actually. Keeping a distance away, he would run up to me and stop right there behind or next to me like "HEY BUDDY! HOW'S IT GOING :D? YOU ABOUT TO FINISH YOUR STORY? THAT'S GREAT MAN! YOU'RE DOING A GOOD JOB :D" Just letting you know~ In my head "Is he going to attack me orrrr...?"

@90xX Custom monsters? That sounds awesome. You've created a few before in Amnesia I assume?

If you did make a custom monster for one of my custom stories, it would be cool, I picture the monster to be like Akers, not as zombie looking, though. A sort of monster that is based off of how Akers reacts to sound, except it could see the player, too. That way it brings the sort of "hide in a closet and hope it won't find you" element to the game.

@papa bless I don't think I'm going to need a writer exactly for this, because there isn't necessarily a huge story or anything for the mod I'm currently working on. But I'm not too sure by this point, I might need a writer and I might not, but if you're interested I could tell you the basic idea of the mod. Keep in mind, though, that I never said it was super detailed so it might be pretty simple.
