Yeah i can confirm that wind works with that small change, I tested it on Dover and have set up working wind turbines.

@systat I have examined other modded planets with wind and it looks like the only change is a maxwindspeed value added into the mods .sbc file, in the <atmosphere> tag, eg <MaxWindSpeed>100</MaxWindSpeed>

I will test out this fix for Dover in my own game and let you know if it works.

I concur, wind turbines aren't functioning. Is it something that can be fixed by changing a line in the word file for a planet?

@Dr.Dangerous At some point keen changed the in game textures and the white rock in the pictures looks grey now... Someone would have replace them with custom textures... I think everything else is okay.

@BouncySlime not that I know of. You used to be able to do it through save editing, but I think it is no longer possible.

Is it possible to create planets smaller than 19km somehow? Would need to do that cause im palying PvP with friends and a very small planet would be amazing.

something must have gone wrong because no matter how big i make this planet i end up with the same result. a large ice planet with no mountains on it. just all around ice, flat ice

I have a really annoying bug, when I get close to the planet the white rock truns into a really simplistic gray stone. From a distance it looks the same.

@AlanEsh Yeah basically . Platinum for example is only found on the moon in the earth-like start. So you first need to get to the moon to build ion thrusters. At the moment it's basically just a concept and they haven't really fully fleshed it out. I imagine they will in the future, at least I hope so.

Seems like you have voxel and texture qualtiy set to low.
If not, then this is a bug in the game, so please report it on the forums.

You need to crank up your settings a bit, if you can.
It looks like shit on low settings, there's nothing I can do about that.

Im not sure if this is a bug, but the planet's terrain looks nothing like the image you showed and is rough and pointy.
