Steel - 4800/360/200/40/10 - 5.2
MageSteel - 5000/410/250/90/15 - 6
Then, it's not for you to ensure compatibility but to make it easier for other people to use the mod in combination with other mods. If one has to dig through everything to find out what's part of the mod and what's part of the standard game then few people will ... and pretty much everyone that is using a base mod (e.g. espoire/tacyn ones) won't use yours.
Ivory and petrified stone are the same as their mundane counterparts for combat, but are a little bit more valuable.
Catanwood is the same in value but just a touch weaker in equipment.
Ossite is the exact same as copper in all ways.
Now the exciting one! Mage steel is expensive, but in return you get the following in comparison to regular steel:
15% increase in damage, 14% improvement in slash resist, 25% improvement in pierce resist, 125% improvement in blunt resist (This places it well past other metal armour, but still below ogre hide), and it also sustains about 5% more damage!
