If you're not planning on updating this can you please mark it as outdated and add a link to the person that fixed some of the issues? Getting tired of people just abandoning stuff and not having the decency to make that clear at the very top of the description and having to waste time on it trying to fix it.

Sorry I am no longer actively working on this scenario. Try playing Blakes version in the link below yours, I think he has fixed the broken cryo pod mod issue.

try loading it without the cryopod mod in creative, slap on the new SG cryopod, save and exit, then reload in Survival?

I tried it and the game crashed twice as it was loading, also the pod looked very different. I used to be able to run it with no problems, so I guess SE finally figured out how to kill it.

Pour ceux qui se demandent comment résoudre ce problème:
- Commencer une nouvelle partie avec ce monde, vous obtiendrez alors l'erreur mais générerez un fichier de sauvegarde
- Ouvrez vous enregistrez des fichiers, éditez le nouveau et supprimez le mod en rouge, enregistrez la liste des mods et jouez!
Semble très bonne idée, j'espère en trouver plus comme ça

Was able to get the first "base" repaired and complete, used Admin Mode to poke around at the other built structures that I'm guessing script(s) would have directed me to on the journey, shame the campaign system broke, seems like it would be a fun mod.

Yeah, kinda. the scripting built into the scenario doesn't work any more, thanks to the campaign system, so it's more or less a survival game with a targeted goal of 'survive and make it to the planet.'

For those who wonder how to fix this :
- Start new game with this world, you will then get the error but generate a save file
- Open you saves files, edit the new one and remove the mod in red, save mods list and play!
Seems very nice idea, i hop to find more like this

Apparently it was the one for [Codecat] Cockpits (DX 11). They were a number of cockpit and control station designs where you could stand on front of the console instead of sitting down (like Worf's station in STNG) I though it was a cool idea, so I added the mod, its not crutial, I can't even remember if it was actually in the scenario or if I just added it so you could build it in game. If it is preventing you from starting the scenario, then you should be able to enter the scenarios mod list and remove it.

Sorry, I have not been paying attention to the scenario in the last year or so, I suspect (due to changes to the API) that most of the scripts have broken, and I guess 1 (or more) of the mods have been withdrawn. This scenario was written before the new scenario scripting thing was introduced, and I have not bothered to learn it. In short I have no specific timeline to offer on fixing the scenario up

It's an issue with all scenarios since the launch of 1.15 on. The new campaign mode is the replacement for the old Scenarios. The original author has to disable scenario tools, save the file, then depending many factors, may even have to do some game file edits to force the scenario to update as a plain old World file.

Hello, I am glad you liked it, I have not published the atlas as a blueprint, since there is not much to it, really just a place to put the information for the final leg to the planet. As for the O2 tank, in the pre disaster design there were 4 on the top level, the two on the side closest to the rock wall had O2 generators under them, the two on the other side had food processing equipment under them.

Hi, I have a few questions on your wonderful scenario. Did you or someone else publish the designs for the Atlas colony ship and the mining base? Is the Atlas available somewhere for projector use? And finally, I guessed that when fixing the base the height on the left side just under the O2 tank is just right for a oxygen generation, but from your design point of view, what should go on that side?

You can actually save the pod for later salvaging if you're like me. Access the terminal and set your gyro to override, then start it pitching the ship around 10 RPM. Once it comes to a dead stop, set a GPS waypoint where it is, and fly off where you need to go.

Amazing! :steamhappy: I like it a lot! That senario make me love the survival mode. Nice story line. Nice intro. There is hidden stuff everywhere. I make a couple mistake that almost kill me 3 or 4 times!!! But still alive! Got to dig to cut a power line, salvage equipement to generate oxygen, search for clue that worth the time lost to understand and find them.

As takanroe says, as long as you don't accidentally grind it all the way down the information should still be there when you build it back up again.

You gain ownership of an item by grinding it down below the bue line and building it back up again. To gain ownership of computer information ....., you have to find the right computer though.

Sometimes the blue line and the red line are in the same location, if you can't see a blue line in the item 'health' bar, it is likely under the red so grind below the red line in that case

Well, I looked at the scripts and your right, they seem to be broken at the moment.
or at least the Refinery monitor, cargo monitor, power monitor are broken. Anyway, it appears that keen changed some stuff around with the March 16, 2016 update. Here is what they say in their post about it.

"These changes will continue to happen until the Sandbox API has been completely refactored. We are sorry for any inconvenience but this process is necessary and will help us develop the game more efficiently."


Anyway, I am going to hold off on trying to fix these scrips until "the Sandbox API has been completely refactored". The scrips are more or less window dressing for the scenario, and should not prevent anyone from completing it.

I am glad you are enjoying the scenario. About the Jetpack issue, I read somthing similar in the mod comments, I believe they said that turning the jetpack off then on again (using x) fixed that issue. I will look into the script on the refineries.

Having fun with this scenario so far. Good job!
I hope i'm on the right track and trying to find all the ships :)

On another note I don't know if it's just me, but the lightspeed mod seems to be working so-so. If i want to be faster then 110m/s with my jetpack, i need to hold W all the time and the speed pick up very slowly (inertia OFF of course), cause when i let go the speed drops to 110m/s again.
Second thing (which doesn't bother me that much) is that the scripting for the refineries doesn't seem to work. I get errors in line 7, 8 and 26.
