The problem you describe is due to Keen breaking in game turret ai and not the mods error. Keen says tbey are fixing it..... in version 1.201.000 in who knows how many Months......

@Cython Hi Cython, This mod is now invalid. If you manually control it, you can fire the weapon. But the mod starts buggin as AI cannot automatically search for enemies and fire at them. It may be the vanilla turrets has been changed in the latest update. Could you fix it ?

Anyone else running into a issue with the Plasma turret do no damage to grids? Was experimenting and they wouldn't damage any grids I own. it fired, grounds explored, got smoke but no damage to blocks. Laser seem to work, though forgot how low it damage was.

Yeah the laser hit detection is a bit generous and as plasma shots are based on missiles (so they explode) they go poof when being near the lasers. :(

Last time I used it a few weeks ago, it worked fine. Just don't use the plasma and lasers at the same time. The lasers will detonate the plasma bolts. Personal tip, limit the lasers to missile defense duties, and maybe anti small ship weapons.

Hmmm, I see the mod hasn't been updated since March 2017, in constrast of the Energy Shield whose last update is August 2019. Is this mod depreciated/abandonned. Even so, does it still works (and is it usable on a server ?).

I like the idea of the overheating (shooting for too long, I guess). But I dont like to use this mod only because of the sound the turrets make. If it would have a different sound effect then I would definetly use this mod again.

@Teddowyn By any chance were they firing at missiles before? I know even vanilla weapons currently bug out when set to target missiles and never stop trying to kill the missile even if it's already dead and thus stop taking new targets until turned off/on again.

If not that then it may just be a bug with the turrets, this mod hasn't been updated since 2017 and last time I used it (a few months ago) it was pretty buggy.

I currently operate a base with 3 batteries and 4 laser towers. Even though the batteries are almost full, the towers stopped firing at some point today. Can anybody help me out, why this is the case?

I think it is meant to mimic the vanilla weapons in damage. It just replaces the resource with energy, instead of making ammo. Besides, enough guns will do the job quite well.

Small Laser Turret don't work, I can't even control it from control station. Other weapon from this mod do not test whiles.

My pulse turrets seem to not work, they won't fire even manually, the other guns fire, though all of them including the pulse seem to have no visual when firing...anyone got any ideas why?
