So, I have recently tried out this mod, but the mech keeps wanting to walk backwards..any help?

sorta like that

Dropship? :steamhappy:

Perhaps it could come mounted on a base via connector or mergeblock, and the base is what you paste into the world... then just remove the base... or something like that might work! It's food for thought.

never figured that out, this build is pretty old, so the pasting into voxel never was a thing
maybe you can add some reactors and thrusters and fly it down safely

What is the recommended way to paste this in to a world without dropping it from too high and risking breaking it, or risking wheels becoming static which is nigh impossible to fix?

This crawler might actually want to align with the ground - check out the altitude aligner's new slope behavior!

Nice mech dude. I accidentally pasted it into the ground. :( It's using a really old version of my script!
SpaaaaaaceMouse 6. mar. 2016 kl. 9:33
Thought i tried the newer one and it didn't work. Meh. I'll try again...
Bruce LeedleLeedleLeedleLee  [ophavsmand] 6. mar. 2016 kl. 7:31
yes, there was a a change to programmable blocks one or two weeks ago, but the newer aligner script works fine. (this mech doesn't actually need it, but it's useful)
SpaaaaaaceMouse 6. mar. 2016 kl. 7:29
Hey, would you be aware if something changed recntly in SE regarding the balance script and gyros? My biped walked fine before and since im assuming one of the last updates, does nothing but fall over now. I'm assuming keen changed something.

I may add a drill to this for a tail.
Bruce LeedleLeedleLeedleLee  [ophavsmand] 5. mar. 2016 kl. 5:53
just not with conventional methods. wheel suspensions are made or absorbing a lot of energy, so they do the job quite well
ASP Ian 4. mar. 2016 kl. 18:56
i told you you could make a large ship version
djfigs25 4. mar. 2016 kl. 13:22
Yeah, I also forgot to mention Planetary Annihilation. That has some cool walkers and other vehicles to recreate. I might just do some now just typing this.:steamhappy:
Bruce LeedleLeedleLeedleLee  [ophavsmand] 4. mar. 2016 kl. 13:16
Robocraft will be hard af, because it's also a building game. maybe i could release a chassis or two so people can customize the walkers. as for replicas, i don't like them in SE, because they tend to be impractical (e.g. purrfect-blinkys star wars builds. they look nice, but handle not that good, and are not really usable in survival)
djfigs25 4. mar. 2016 kl. 13:06
You should make walkers from shows/movies/games, like RoboCraft or Star Wars

Bruce LeedleLeedleLeedleLee  [ophavsmand] 28. feb. 2016 kl. 13:24
i also noticed a few general mistakes
V2 will be on the way next week, with improvements
Crasher 28. feb. 2016 kl. 13:20
hmm, i was testing it out, and i got a few comments. The legs break pretty easily, maybe blast door blocks would be a good replacement for the light armor for the first leg segments? Its also a bit difficult to turn it, whether its moving or not. Maybe have a button that changes the leg sequence so that it has one side going forward, and the other in reverse and vice versa? You know, kind of like turning a tank.
Bruce LeedleLeedleLeedleLee  [ophavsmand] 28. feb. 2016 kl. 4:44
i called it roach, because it can survive everywhere
Crasher 27. feb. 2016 kl. 20:34
Looks like a silverfish... be a good name for it.

I am, I just try to write in English, so more people understand what I'm trying to say.
