It's workingwith WOTC, at least with Unrestricted Customization the parts appear. I just can't see a related slider within Options > Gameplay, but despite that is working just fine.

Doesn't work with WOTC anymore, and seeing as there hasn't been comments on here since 2018 I guess its unlikely there's even any alternative mods that do the same thing.

This used to work with WOTC just fine but now it seems like it doesnt anymore. I've been on and off and haven't really played since the new launcher was introduced and I suspect it has to do with that.

It works with alternate launcher, but loading into a mission the game freezes :D

Is there a good soul out there that will update this?

Well, the mod works with War of the Chosen just fine, with no side effects whatsoever. I'd suggest looking into recompiling it with the new War of the Chosen SDK. You shouldn't need to actually do anything with it.

Thanks for the kind words! Unfortunately I don't have time these days to update or add features. Apparently this mod is still functional under the DLC to date...no idea if it will still work with WotC.

If anyone wants to take this mod and run with it, update it for WotC or add features, they are more than welcome to!

Out of all the cosmetics mods available for XCOM 2, I consider this particular mod as a "Must have" and as an "Essential" one. I just hope that this will still work when "WotC" releases, and if it won't then hopefully "Count_Zero_Interrupt" (the author) can make it work with the expansion as well.

And while I'm in the mood of praising him, I'd like to offer a mod upgrade...

How about remaking the mod to have the vanilla arms options be made available as "Left and Right Arm" pieces utilizing the "Left and Right Arm" system introduced by the "Anarchy's Children" DLC. Also that system is added into the vanilla game itself and not just with AC when the game was patched when AC launched so AC is not required for the implementation of the system in a cosmetic mod. With this method we won't need to have any more additional arms options in the main "Arms" option in the game. It would also be great to have separate left and right arm customization for tier 2 and 3 armors as well :)

I've been using and loving this mod for quite a long time, and it's one of my favourites. That said, switching to Identical Arms, so I can mix-and-match with wild abandon for my less fashion aware soldiers. Thanks for having this mod out for my vanilla experience!

The PM is right. Currently there is no way to customize old arms with new anarchy children's parts. Even if there is space on the lower arms <- huge bummer. Same for some torso and arm combinations. I came here to express my hopes that Count_Zero_Interrupt comes up with a mod solution! :psi: :D

Gerishnakov, Firaxis wasn't working hard enough to give you their normal arms. Left them as is. If you select them, you don't get to individually customize. If you individually customize, your only options are the DLC arms. They are dumb.

Several of my customization mods are randomly coming up w/ missing textures in place of some of the exposed arms as well, including a few of these.

Several of the arm options show up as purple/missing textures for me :-( The only other mod that does anything involving armor that I have is the Advent one.

All of the options are selectable in the menu, but at least 3 of them the skin texture is completely missing. Just shows up as purple.

Nice catch, thanks! Fixed.

I've had a few people report missing arms, but I can't see anything that would be causing it. All arms show up in my tests and the scripts look good. It could be a conflict of some kind with another mod, if you have something else installed that affects arm options.

Something I noticed: Arm 15 doesn't work well with tattoos. Any tattoo placed on the left arm will also copy itself to the right arm, then another right-arm tattoo can be placed over it. This doesn't seem to affect any of the other arms that I can see.

Paragon mentioned he downloaded other arm mods, so he probably has more arm options than you. The game automatically labels all the body part options with numbers, I haven't been able to figure out a way to get it to display names. The A to F simply refers to how the actual models are named inside the packages - it didn't occur to me, but I can see how that would be confusing, as most people would think of them as 1 to 6. Perhaps I should change that.
Also yeah, I'll probably add versions of option 5, I've gotten quite a few requests for it, and it doesn't take much work.

@Paragon XC and Count_Zero_Interrupt: Both of your comments are confusing me...

Paragon said there is an Arm 14 option amongst the choices and yet on my game (base game only as I was unable to Pre-purchase the game, so no Resistance Warrior Pack Bonus DLC for me T_T) and you Count_Zero_Interrupt opted to label the arms with letters as designation (based on your download page descriptions. Whilst the game actually labels the arms as 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 which totals 14 arms exactly. So when Paragon said he's missing Arm 14, did he mean to say Arm 13? Or is there supposed to be a fifteenth arm (Arm 14) in your pack?

I'm also hoping you'd reconsider making symmetrical versions of Arm 4 (game label) a.k.a. Arm E (your naming scheme) a.k.a. the actual vanilla game fifth Arm a.k.a. Arm 5.

Hey man, check out your source folder in your mods when you get a chance. Because you started with a default mod it has every source file included, you probably aren't using all of them (or any of them beyond X2DownoadableContentinfo_*yourmodhere*). Not a huge deal but 15mb of crap we don't need and don't need conflicting with other mods that might change those. Thanks for your efforts!

For those of you who just can't get enough kevlar, you may be interested in my Kevlar Spider Arms mod, which simply adds some of the kevlar arms as options for the Spider Suit, with the grapple and rope intact so they match up with the Spider Suit torso. Check it out here:
