We need WOTC versions of weapons like these
Leion 7 AGO 2017 a las 16:46
The guns are not showing on my game...is there something I need to do? Research, buy or enable them on a menu somewhere?
TheBongolian 7 MAY 2017 a las 16:15
@OniKanji
I believe all standalone weapons work with LW2 no problem. Im using all the mass effect weapons and 870 mcs shotgun with no problem. I think the pdf files regarding compatibility mention that additional weapons need balancing.
Mook 22 ENE 2017 a las 0:35
Does this work with LW2?

Can you do a Chiappa Rhino? I'd like one of those.
wcusnu 15 MAY 2016 a las 12:31
Thank you Sir!
Yard1  [autor] 14 MAY 2016 a las 12:50
It has been updated today.
wcusnu 14 MAY 2016 a las 11:19
from E3245:
They need to update their mod by adding this line to the Template: Template.bInfiniteItem = true, since the update changes the default bool from true to false if you leave out the Template.bInfiniteItem.

tl;dr Add Template.bInfiniteItem = true to your weapon templates.

I've already did it to all my weapon mods.
Juravis 30 MAR 2016 a las 22:32
Found a bug. Desert Eagle doesnt calculate Pistol_Conventional_CritChance. 2 snipers, each are identical, one shows the +5% from crit the other doesnt if you put 5 in that variable.

I want to quote your mode.
can you give permission?
Elmo 25 FEB 2016 a las 16:54
love for you to make just one pack with all your weapons
Jon 21 FEB 2016 a las 11:41
Great mod, Thank you for coding it :)
I changed the stats to match the beam pistol so I can avoid having to use that child's toy of a weapon. It's also faster when using the multi shit abilites so that's nice.

If anyone else whats to do the same, here are the stats I copied from the game's config files but adjusted to affect the Degal, simply overwrite the mod config file:
DesertEagle_BASEDAMAGE=(Damage=4, Spread=1, PlusOne=50, Crit=2, Pierce=0, Shred=0, Tag="", DamageType="Projectile_BeamXCom")

DesertEagle_AIM=0
DesertEagle_CRITCHANCE=0
DesertEagle_ICLIPSIZE=99
DesertEagle_ISOUNDRANGE=15
DesertEagle_IENVIRONMENTDAMAGE=10
DesertEagle_IPOINTS=0

@eragon1993 - It's part of the DLC dude.

Cmdr Brannick 19 FEB 2016 a las 15:11
Love to see some British love. Maybe the L96, L85 or L86?
Yard1  [autor] 19 FEB 2016 a las 2:15
Just for the record, I have never and will never charge money for any mod I release.
Dymacos 19 FEB 2016 a las 1:33
@Jack Spack <3

Exactly. We should just respect all the modders and enjoy this mod community to extend our fun. Now that it's still free, and Donation is optional.
Bagel 18 FEB 2016 a las 21:13
I can understand people getting pissed off had he not credited the original modellers, but I see no issue with donating to mod authors. I haven't done it for this author as I only just stumbled upon the mod. I have done it in the past however because they are providing their specialized knowledge to alter and make my game better for completely free of charge. They contribute to the excellent modding community that we want game developers to see as a prime example, and want to be a part of. You don't have to contribute a monetary sum, but the least you could contribute is a positive and respectful attitude towards these mod authors. Whether a mod takes 5 minutes 5 weeks, it still extends our gametime somewhat and for some may improve their enjoyment of their game. Don't be such negative pricks because all that does is push modders into valve's paid modding supporters, and I know that's nothing we want to see happen again.
Dymacos 18 FEB 2016 a las 21:06
@Yard1PL

Don't listen to the haters dude you're doing an awesome job. Even if you made all the model objects yourself, nobody will see a difference in the end, the outcome will be still the same. The desert eagle will still look like a desert eagle. Look at payday 2/insurgency/halflife 2/far cry 4/battlefield. The weapons are all the same.

It's that what makes everything different in the end. So that we can enjoy this game even more. Even if the model is preloaded this takes a large amount of time to make sure this works in this game.

Yard1PL is the only one providing us these awesome weapon for XCOM 2. For FREE. And he credits the companies who made the model so. This donation is still a CHOICE. So we could at least appreciate what he's doing for us.
Love'n'Peace 18 FEB 2016 a las 15:33
I gave the guy my money, because he did something for me that I couldn't have done myself, and nobody else did for me. You people have no right to tell me who I can or can't give my money to, if he didn't have the button there, I'd have requested another means of showing my appreciation. Go somewhere else, you contribute literally nothing to this environment.
fawkernot 18 FEB 2016 a las 15:08
Yeah but trying to make money of something that isn't yours, even for donations, is a huge problem.

Not to say that ripping this off another game isn't a problem by itself.
Yard1  [autor] 18 FEB 2016 a las 15:05
I don't demand anything. Everybody can download this mod for free.
fawkernot 18 FEB 2016 a las 15:02
So someone else stole this from another game.

You imported it.

And you want money for that? LOL

Good luck with that.
Softis 18 FEB 2016 a las 10:34
There's nothing wrong with asking for a donation.
If you don't want to donate, then don't donate. It's that simple.
Yard1  [autor] 17 FEB 2016 a las 21:57
How can you know that it took 5 minutes? Did you add a weapon yourself? Each gun takes about 4 to 5 hours, since I need to edit the model, make new textures, position the attachments, make source files and test that it works. So yes, I think I am in position to ask for donations.
Indigo 17 FEB 2016 a las 19:19
I'm not sure how you can ask for donations. You're just dumping a model into the game. You didn't make it, you didn't even rip it, you did something that takes 5 minutes and you're asking for donations?
Deathlock47 17 FEB 2016 a las 19:15
Dude, who cares. there's all kinds of mass effect and star wars crap on here.
Yard1  [autor] 17 FEB 2016 a las 14:06
Oh well, not my loss if something happens.
MacEugene 17 FEB 2016 a las 14:05
Crediting is not enough, you need the permission of the copyright holder. Obtained from the Nexusmods ToS:

Absolutely no copyrighted work is to be used without permission of the original creator. This includes content from other games, from DLCs, music creators or from other file authors. This also includes members from countries that do not recognise copyright laws.
All files uploaded must have been created by the uploader or used with permission from the original author of the content. Such permission must be indicated in the Readme text attached to the file and/or on the Description page (or in the Description field for images), and must be obtained in advance, before uploading the file. If you cannot provide proof of consent then your file will be removed and your account is likely to be banned.

Too.Much.Hustle 17 FEB 2016 a las 13:21
I think he means to say that you'll be banned because you didn't create the model, but I doubt that. You give proper credit where it's due, so I don't think anyone can call you a "thief" for converting a model from one game to another.
Yard1  [autor] 17 FEB 2016 a las 13:06
Huh?
MacEugene 17 FEB 2016 a las 12:53
@Yard1PL, you will get banned from nexus if you post them there, "content theft" is not allowed there.
Game kNight Plays 16 FEB 2016 a las 13:27
Always loved the DE in RL and in games - thank you for adding this and for not giving it some silly stats!
Yard1  [autor] 16 FEB 2016 a las 9:44
I'll try to get them on Nexus soon.
vulchor 16 FEB 2016 a las 9:08
Would you mind uploading this to the Nexus please? nexusmods.com/xcom2

Steam Workshop is really clunky, but if you put this on the Nexus then people can use Nexus Mod Manager with it. I'm currently running 40 mods on my game, all of them are from the Nexus and make use of the Mod Manager.
S.Collins 16 FEB 2016 a las 9:02
any chance of porting over the BF4 firing sounds to?
Yard1  [autor] 16 FEB 2016 a las 7:15
I have him in my friends, I just need to find some time to talk to him :)
Cynath 16 FEB 2016 a las 6:57
Yard, did you get in touch with Platoon (M41 mod author)? he said he'd be willing to help you out with the UI icons :)
Mr. Californication 16 FEB 2016 a las 6:45
I have a request for a new sniper rifle like m24.
Yard1  [autor] 16 FEB 2016 a las 6:35
The default settings for all weapons are in config files of XCOM - I don't remember the file name but it had weapon in it.
blint.exe 16 FEB 2016 a las 6:31
You should include all the other weapons damages and stats so we can copy and paste them to match the guns we want to replace, great work as always, though!
Cynath 16 FEB 2016 a las 6:14
hehe, I'm betting all 1725 subscribers think that. 10/10
Derpaggedon 16 FEB 2016 a las 6:13

Agent Coxack 16 FEB 2016 a las 2:03
Who else here thinks the Desert Eagle is the coolest handgun in the world?

Now who else thinks this mod is an awesome/10? :xcom2specialist:
