Completely skippable, you can place a portal in the white ground below the exit door and put another portal anyhwere where you can get atleast 1 meter above it, then you jump on it and enter the exit door.

Need some work - none of the angeled panels need to be used, you can just put portals on the floor instead and get up to all the platforms that way - means you don't need the first cube button, or the button at the bottom of the pit.
