Doppler blueshift is used in astronomy to determine relative motion. All Half-Life titles are a play on scientific terms.

You need to enable the HD models to see them in Blue Shift. These are customs using those new models blended with the older ones

The Otis model in this addon comes from blue shift. There are appearances here not present in the opposing force version.

Otis isn't Blue Shift, He's from Opposing Force (unless you count the 5 seconds his model is reused from Opposing Force in the intro to Blue Shift)

Uh So I just installed it and Its giving me missing textures on barneys arms and The scientist heads. Don't know why I tried to uninstall them and reinstall but it didn't work and barneys vest just puts more missing textures on him, So if you can fix them it'd be much appreciated.

You don't really need it, but it's highly recommended if you want Barney and Otis' helmets to appear correctly.
