I have removed the ammo loader on the BT-7 (the empty space in the corridor) since it requires Silicon to manufacture. Silicon is not a basic building resource and will not be mineable from the mining station. I wanted to keep this a basic miner (not requiring silicon to build) so, I left the empty space open since the devs may add in the option later in game to add equipment while gaming instead of just in the editor. The BT-7 was my first ship and I didn't know all that info when I started playing IR.
If you want to have a ship with an ammo loader you should either try the XS freighter (both variants have a turret and a loader) or the D5 Mantis.
Ok this is the final version before the gametesting.
For all those who would like to contribute so I can create more ships from SW The Old Republic era I would appreciate the following:
- Constructive feedback regarding single and multiplayer gameplay needed.
Test this ship (weapons wise - gameplay wise) and share your thoughts.
The difference between this version and version 0.8 is not so much visible on the outside. This ship has a more realistic lay out and feels like a starship, not like a couple of boxed rooms welded together. Download it and see for yourself. This ship can be easily modified for cargo duty by removing the extractor and installing cargo pads, or even as a passenger transport.
Enjoy the gaming experience.
