I started searching your assets when I found your “Dairy Dip” (I used to have scouts behind the dairy dip in portage!), and this one just blew me away- I used to see the Lure (off 29?) all the time when I was a kid. Thanks for these!!!

I'm glad it's open again as a Gyro place. I miss the old ham sandwiches and fries, but the new owners still have great food, I think. And huge portions, too. One large fry has as much as 2 large BK fries, and you could squeeze 4 BK cheeseburgers into one "Lure" burger. And it's cheap, too. But most importantly, they kept the same signs for "The Lure" as they were, so this place still looks the same except for the smaller drive-thru and enter/exit signs.

I've lived in Carmel, Indiana my whole life, and I loved going there. I was sad to see it. If you could make this into a park, or a unique building, that would be fan-fuckin-tastic!
