It's fixed. I just tested it. OKW will still build a truck in that area but it won't be possible anymore to block other vehicles because of that tiny unpassable spot that I've put there. Going to update the map now.

Well, in stead of widening the bridge I have an other idea. I can make it so that a truck can't be placed there. One tiny spot that prevents it building there with the impass map editor of world builder.

Yes, stupid ai. I never tested the map with OKW on a starting point from that side of the map. I'll have a look into it later. I'll see if it can be done, widening that bridge without ruining anything, so I can't promise. Solution for the time being is to play with OKW at a starting point from the other side of the map.

the map is really nice and fun to play but there's one major complication - OKW AI places a truck base on the bridge every time, blocking the way for every Axis vehicle. can you make the bridge a bit wider, so the vehicles can pass even when someone builds truck there?

Hi, thx for letting me know where to look. I found the tiny spot near the windmill where vehicles could enter the shallow water. Its fixed now. Now about the AI's behavior. it's difficult to do something about that. the best who can alter the AI's behavior is the programmer from Relic. It shouldn't act like that when the large bridge is still intact. Easy AI is the stupidst of them all. I don't know if it were expert AIs, if not, try those. I'll update the map again later. Busy on other map right now :)

6 enemy vehicles (AI) were parked at the walkway...while the bridge was in perfect condition.

I saw an enemy ostwind parked in the river, near the windmill.

Just did a quick check. The windwills can only be destroyed when a unit is inside the building. Otherwise it can't. Thanks for noticing. the windmills will be replaced.

Hi , that vehicles park in the river I didn't encounter that yet, I wonder where this could be possible, if tanks can shoot through a windmill then this windmill couldn't be destroyed either. I shot the windmill into rubble many times. Vehicles can reach every island if the large bridges are not destroyed.

deleted...too many problems. Vehicles park in the river. Tanks shoot through windmill. Computer gets confused and parks vehicles next to walkway when bridge is not destroyed.

Thank you so much, I lost count how many times I played this in BK mod, now I can play it in CoH2 with Spearhead and other mods that have surpassed BK! Take it easy and stay awesome man! Cheers! :steamhappy:

As mentioned before. This is version 2 of the Hochwald gap map found in the coh1 blitzkrieg mod which is a modified version of the original coh1 map.

The playable area on this version of the map now is larger, which makes that more houses can be garrisoned and that there can be taken differend pathways/routes by infantry at the edges of the map that were previously inaccessible.

The strategy differs now also on the largest island as there is a footbridge added and an existing footbridge was turned into a larger bridge so that vehicles and tanks can now reach it + other changes like 2 bushes that were removed in front of the windows from the windmill
so that garissoned machinegunners now have sight on all directions and can fire. So beware :)
