I think the wood should be replaced with bone shards, and you should ad an item called the ultibone, which is crafted with a deerclops eyeball, 5 bone shards, and a walking cane, which spawns all 3 types of chesters(shadow, ice, & normal)

@azazef The eyebone still naturally spawns but if you can't find it or you lose it you can craft one instead using this mod. It's very useful, I've used it already in worlds I've set to the largest size option. Exploration is harder in larger worlds so this is an insanely useful mod.

So the one on the floor or in a chest is ignored? I wonder what makes that happen, perhaps the eyebone in the inventory has a higher priority than one on the floor for development and testing reasons.

Chester will follow any eyebone that the player has on them and it doesn't matter about the one u summoned him in

Ah, very clever. Maybe you could make the eyebone useful for other endeavors in future mods, for example to create new tools or foods. It's kind of a shame that the spawned eyebone is still in there, it would add another facet to gameplay and make chester something to be worked toward, too often I find the eyebone almost directly on top of my spawn point, kind of making the early game exploring a little less exciting. Also, as I was saying about the second eyebone, does chester follow that one as well or will he only follow the eyebone used to summon him?

Player will still be able to find the eyebone if they wish it will not crash but i made a cap for only 1 of them to come so people wont exploit it

So what happens if you pick up the naturally spawned eyebone, by my reckoning it'll either throw up exceptions and crash the game or you'll have trouble getting chester to follow you without clogging your inventory with that second eyebone. Did you remove the natural spawn? This would make chester a mid-game asset, which makes sense given his usefulness, newer players would feel accomplishment at summoning our furry friend and older players would appreciate the added difficulty to starting a new world.
