@ Bad ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ You do need mods to build something like this; it would be very difficult and time-consuming to get angles like that by manually editing the machine's bsg file, and impossible to get them just in normal build mode. He goes through his creative process in his demo video, if you want mode detail.
