Check my Workshop uploads, i uploaded a m1a1 improved rear sight with night sights and e5 textures, so yes, Transparent textures works with night sights if you know how to do it.

Last time I heard, transparent textures are incompatible with illumination, so there probably won't be night sights, but then again, I hardly use night sights and I'm pretty sure there are others who don't too.

If you don't mind, could you try a Pre-Series 70s with a transparent texture for the threaded barrel? Personally nothing disgusts me more than a threaded barrel on a good old Colt.
