If you have CS:S then you shouldn't have any texture errors. I bundled all the map-specific textures inside the .bsp. My advice, if it's still a problem of course, is to try restarting your game, or maybe your computer if you already have. GMod seems to be picky about whether or not it wants to mount the textures.

Those are content errors - for some reason the game can't find the textures and models it needs.

Couple of things to try:
1. Do you have CS:S or the CS:S content? If not, try downloading and/or installing it before continuing. You don't have to buy the game as people have posted the content for download.
2. Try restarting your game. Often times issues like this can be resolved by doing this.
3. Try unsubscribing and resubscribing from the file.

On the map topic, you can add pylons/pillars in buildings to make them feel less empty, perhaps a mix of two should do a good work. Check out canyondam map so you'll see what I mean.

I meant the tool in GMod which can be used to make screenshots - it hides HUD and gets rid of ugly weapons in front of you. Try using it to make better screenshots for the map.

And I do know how to use hammer.

The camera tool? Dude that's the tool you use to navigate the 3D precompiled view in Hammer. Seems like someone doesn't know how to use Hammer...
