i'd say just go for it koz. bonus points if you make contra rotating options.. my issues with this mod is hasn't been touched or updated besides compatability, and no contra-rotating options.

i love myself a mod that hasnt been updated or fixed in 6 years and seeing a threatening message of not allowing anyone to repost any fixes, Yeah thats awesome, this mod should be deleted

I love this mod. i feel the Balance is Perfect any lower and my heavy Helos would be ugly.
More detail adds weight and SE is not generous with weights.
I also love the WIP. I just don't want to see a Good mod get nerft be for it finishes.
Maybe release an Irl version as they say , Separately for the haters.

it'd be great if we knew how much thrust each propeller effectively puts out. I'm not exactly keen on having to load a creative world and manually testing to figure that out. something in the block description or at least here on the mod page would be great.

Most helicopters just flip instantly when turning main rotor on. However, this is less likely to happen when helicopter is heavily loaded with cargo. Maybe need to make propellers slowly gain speed like they do in real life? It seems like propellers give a huge punch when turned on (or when landing gear is being unlocked) which destabilizes everything.

@YungPro - it should counteract the spin of the main rotor - at least that's how tail rotors work in real life.

I would love to use this mod on my server, but the cost of building it is in harsh contrast to the balancing that goes on there.

I like the mod but im not a fan of the blades stop spinning while in flight because they arent "in use" if a helocopters blades turned off because it simply was at its desired height it would fall out of the sky. Could you make a version where, the blades dont turn off if the grid in on?

I don't even think they are tilted. Tried to see tilt in these parts, but it seems that there is no tilt. Either something broken or I am missing something.

Would be nice to have an indication to where the "front" is. At the moment no arrows show where is "up", like in screenshots and you have no idea where that "tilted" side is for "forward" thrust

otherwise the propellers simply arnt available. (Though my mod pack might have to borrow its icons)

Ive been a user of this mod now for a while

and i was wondering if i would be able to use the models of the helicopter parts at least in a pack im putting together??
My pack is similar to industrial overhaul except perhaps not as many machine and way more elements and alloys and chemistry tricks for you to do.

i was hoping i could just use ur skyblade pack rather than have to essentially recreate it from scratch.

I found some survival balancing issues. I'm not sure I agree with the thrust-to-power usage ratio of these as compared to vanilla atmospheric thrusters, even taking into account the added space requirement. I think having lower power requirements than atmospheric thrusters makes a lot of sense, however I feel the thrust output should also be lower than them.

also, I found that the opposite tail rotors do the same thing as the normal one but don't have the blades or space requirements, and I see that this block exists so that only one bladed tail rotor needs to be placed on a helicopter in order to thrust laterally in both directions, but it creates more issues than it solves right now.

I can fly a ship on just these facing all directions. I feel this block provides an unbalanced substitute for atmospheric thrusters entirely. I would like to suggest either removing them, or allowing them only to work if the normal tail rotor block is placed facing the opposite direction on the grid.

Is it possible to create a larger Heli propeller? I am making large helicopters and they look very disproportionate with the build. Great mod though, Just too small for me to use properly

Thanks for a super cool looking mod. Can i, please, reupload it for our private server usage for some changes (adding hitbox model to propellers and a bit rebalance towards atmospheric thrusters) to match our server idea?

Could you please add inverted versions of the upwards rotors so we can make counterrotating props. Since the tail rotors jsut provide sideways thrust in one direction it would be nice if we could make counterrotating helicopters.

Im having an issue when changing position of the propellers, they seem to stop spinning when switching from up to forward with a rotor.

I agree with GiveThemHell, we need larger sizes for both grid types but in a range building up in size but also geometry like two bladed up to seven bladed (CH 53 type). What would be neat is propellers kind of on angles, again like CH 53 tail rotor. But overall awsome mod never or less - can't do with out it!

@Tumble Hello! We found your cool mod, sound, animation, everything is fine. We want to add it to our server, but it needs to be rebalanced for compatibility with the Plane Parts: Propellers by Takeshi mod. Remove small engines, remove the Tail block, lower traction. Can we do this, indicating you as an author? Sorry for the bad English, I hope you understand what I want.
