Ace Combat should allow V/STOL aircraft to be playable. Even if it's like the Assault Horizen helicopter segments. They could use helicopter controls, and then a cutscene would trigger to start the fighter segments.

Hot damn, this looks like it could be used as a "skinless" model for other games. Hell it might even pass for an Ace Combat game.

Yeah, the SR-71 fits the style better when hi-pol, looks pretty swaggy in-game

IMO High-poly doesn't really fit the game, but this model is really well done!

Also, if not for the already bloated as hell description, I would have put mention of the aircraft's service with the United States Marine Corps. I'm pretty sure the Marines used to have Harriers.
