I played Empyrion, it's not better then SW in my opinion. The ship builing mechanics are very different and more bizzare then this one. While this games takes a common sense approach of making sure things are interconnected via connectors and such, Empyrion doesn't.

I honestly forget the details now, it's been awhile since I played and Dibble's original workshop page has been removed. But it has everything the default spawn ship has, plus a few more minor things. A double-airlock, antenna, a bit more power to the reactors/thrusters, etc.
I used it as a default spawn ship replacer in my old games.

Played it. Kinda like SE but more survival-based.

Nope :(

Kicking myself for not keeping them backed up, he had some great ships.

On a side note, if you like Space Engineers, I highly suggest checking out "Empyrion Galactic Survival" as well. The game is less concentrated on engineering and more about building/crafting, but otherwise very similar. The scope is grand and the devs update it constantly.

I'm glad there are still some of the Bibble's creations since he left Steam Workshop. Any chance you got his Drop Ship,Tug Boat or any of the pods?

Aww... okay. Tis a shame. Those were some nice ships. I'll have to dig round, see if I have a loose save file somewhere...
