So i just got it today, added a remote control with gps coordinates and only after long trial and error decided to read up on the comments.
I found out that it can only walk forwards unless you use a rail system.
Is there a way to change it? I would really love this mech to just patrol around my base.
The scenario I'm working on is a team based dogfight, were one side does a number of objectives, and the other side attempts to stop them. I've been trying to do it as an amalgamation of stuff from the steam workshop. The objective I want to use your drones for likely involves transporting them them making sure they arrived intact. I'm not quite sure. But I didn't actually need them to turn, I just wanted to make sure they didn't have a sensor thing that pointed them at players, which would cause explosions if put in a storage area or other space.
Yes this version will only walk straight. I gave an example of how you can designate a route for it using a rail system in the pictures above, if you want it to patrol.
Also if a remote control is added I can easily make it turn and go in reverse as well. Let me know if you have questions, I'd like to hear about this scenario you're doing.
It was a fantastic game growing up.
Ha feel free to make one, I was going for a more compact build.
i think its worth it and thanks to LSG aaron i learned about it
