I'm not sure what the purpose of this folder was, the author didn't leave any comments explaining what they were trying to accomplish and I don't really feel like comparing these changes to the modern container.lua. I'm sure there's bound to be a myriad of other problems with the mod again given its age (goodness me it predates A New Reign, that's how old it is) but for fixing the bug where you can't take things out of containers, this is how to go about accomplishing that.

The mod makes extensive use of overwriting the container component (in layman's terms this is what allows objects like chests to store things). Given the age of the mod, it's not surprising it's causing issues nowadays. But here is how you fix this bug:

Go to the download of the mod (browse local files -> mods, it should be one of the workshop folders, you'll have to dig around for it, OR you can download the mod locally with a workshop downloader).

Once you've found the mod's folder, go to data -> components. Inside you should find three files. Open the one called 'container' with a text editor.

Scroll to the bottom of the file, you should see this:

AddComponentPostInit("container", ContainerPostInit)
AddComponentPostInit("container_replica", ContainerPostInit)
AddPrefabPostInit("container_classified", ContainerPostInit)

Either comment these out (type -- in front of them) or delete them entirely. You should now be able to take things out from chests and backpacks.

the multiple adventure time spin off series are coming soon and i'm all in on anything to do with the show, having good mods to play out my fantasies here seems like the best option so i hope you guys can see your plan through, else i may have to figure out how to do it myself... consider yourselves informed :steamhappy:

Crashes if you try to take the green backpack or red sword into caves. The green backpack isn't detected by other mods as a "backpack", so sorting mods etc. won't use it so sadly I just equip regular armor and a regular backpack instead.

Otherwise, this works like a charm and it's quite an enjoyable mod. A bit overpowered but not too much, since you must manage your sword's durability.

Just to let you know, The game crashes whenever you try and use a backpack, like getting an item out of one of the slots. It's probably a conflict with one of the other mods i have installed.
Heres a list of mods:

Client Side Mods:
DST Too many Items, Auto Actions, Smart Crockpot
Server Side Mods:
API Modded skins, Amy Rose, Sonic The Hedgehog, Cream and cheese, Miles 'tails' prower Dipper Pines, Mable Pines, Crash Bandicoot, Doctor Who The 10th, Drei, Dust, Health Info, Jack Skellington, Neo Cortex, Shovel Knight, Star Vs The Forces of Evil.
