Instead of fixing it I'm just going to remake it sometime, but yes it's probably broken for now.

Yep, even with snd_restart this appears to be busted for now.

Same here. I typed snd_restart, but it still didn't make any sound.

It doesn't seem to work for me any time I type "snd_restart" in the console.

@DLCmaster77 Well, it should be fixed now. I removed the old attack sounds from this and made them into a separate mod. This one only replaces the voice now.

Hmm....I know the bullet holes are different. I've played this so many times.

@TheAwesomeGuy I don't know anything about particle effects, and Black Mesa already uses HL2 bullet holes.

I want to ask you something even though it isn't half life 1 related. Maybe you could add stuff like. Half life 2 blood particles, bullet holes, and half life source radiation\water effects.

Thank you! I've been wanting this since day one, I'm not a fan of the new/HL2-style Vortigaunt sounds. The voices didn't work for me initially either but snd_restart fixed it and now it works fine even after restarting the game.

@Clown, try using "snd_restart" in your console.

@Clown. That happened to me the first time I used it, but it's working for me now. Since it's not happening to me anymore I can't really do anything about it. If this continues to happen I'll update this to only replace the voice.

Doesnt work, the Vortigaunts dont have any sounds, when they shooting you they muted, when they walking muted. Sad((((
