@RespiredFlame I verified it works on the last patch (The Sunset Update). No more updates to Prison Architect are expected, so I do not anticipate any future problems.

So... two things is good. This is a good upgrade. But I would also like to have prisoners with funds from working making use of Drink Machines (if they're in prisoner-accessible areas) -- I tend to put them in the Visitation Room and the Parole Room, for looks if nothing else. I'm trying to think of which other objects look like they'd do things but don't... hmm.

So I'm not sure what the issue is, but I've traced it back to this mod. If I have it active, my prisoners will go to the canteen during "Eat" periods but just mill around and not eat, even if they're starving. Literally no one eats. Playing the same save file without this mod active, everyone eats normally.

Yes, my prisons are always lagging. I'd like trying to build a big prison have big capacity in the real, but that would have to push the game very hard.(and my laptop had already pushed into overheat....)

Previous prison have 1500+ inmates, the lag is even worse, but this MOD works fine. I'd posted for bug discuess days ago, included "debug.txt"

@bellwoody I loaded your prison and I cannot troubleshoot this - I'm only pulling 2-4 FPS (even if I load without any mods).

Sorry for bad news.

My last prison had crashed from this MOD. But this MOD had never gave me any trouble before, until days ago.

This is my crashed prison. After disabled this MOD, it's still running.

I'd put over 1000 bookshelves.(also, hundreds of sofas); did I push the game too hard or reach the limit ?

Man I like the bookshelves idea but the couch thing is amazing, instead of forcing them to sleep for 6-9 hours as usual, I can just force them to sleep 3 hours and the rest as work+free time, letting them study, work or work on their other needs and if they get tired just relax a bit on a sofa which I place in the yards so they can keep going their long days.

After reorganizing mod priority it seems to be fine, I've started a new prison like 2 hours ago and even though I'm only testing it with 8 prisoners, all objects in a daily routine are placed and being used and I haven't crashed, so I guess it was just a mod priority thing.

I'll try again with only this mod enabled, but I don't have any other mods that affect objects, the mods I use only affect very select entities like the armed guard.

After trying this in 2 exisiting prisons and 1 new one I can confirm this is causing crashes.
I'm not sure how or why, but eventually, after about a few minutes in an existing one and once I start accepting new prisoners into a new prison it crashes.
Don't use until creator updates it.

@Goldiehyx that's because they aren't supposed to work during free time and worktime only applies to prisoners that have an assigned job, for any other prisoner worktime will be considered as freetime, so they are allowed to use the sofas as per hardcoded logic.

Basically: The only use sofas if they don't have a job and they are free.

can you make them to not sleep during working time? My prisoners go to sofas during work time and free time, and they are showing "working". It's kind of annoying when they are satisfying "sleep" and doing nothing for other needs.
