For the record, if you read this page it doesn't matter how hot, cold, or radioactive it gets in a given Portal 2 map.

Update, made map cold, trying extra water drops, added music. Turrets slide around nicely when tipped over.

Try checking out some of Samot's maps. I know that one of them uses a slippery ice effect (and not that fake "ice" which is really just broken glass).
