@Quasar - I'm afraid it is impossible under current circumstances. Source code is long gone and I can't remember last time scripting anything in LUA.

can you make it so RMB just locks on the closed NPC or player instead of have the jump behind the person? i think that would be better then jumping and sometimes getting stuck in the wall

grrr i downloaded it i looked at the knife when i had it equipped i looked a the requirments and it needs counter strike sourse i dont have that and now i have an error

Hello, I do not know if it can be configured when teleporting a person who is frozen, so that the blow is facilitated

@kaidenewell, make sure you have CSS, because the one-and-only way to see error is missing knife texture.

Disclaimer: this addon was left untouched since 2015 06 07 and there is no further plans on edditing or developing it further. If anyone has any ideas they can always PM me.

yeah i think users should have 5 seconds to press R and jump back but also costing 5 HP so its not too overpowered, and, just a little request, do you think you could also add an admin only knife that you can spam click and jumping back/forward gives an extra 5 hp instead of removing? thanks.

Thanks for comment. Interesting, check if you have CSS. The only problem that can occur with this addon is that you have missing CSS content ( knife model itself requires Counter-Strike:Source ).

Yes I remember considering it. After I saw how much work it requires I decided to leave the project as it is. The sad part is that I can't get the animations. I thought that I could change the model and leave animation as they are but it's more difficult then I thought.

About the hunstman knives, as I mentioned above I'm leaving this project as it is. But maybe the author for huntsman knives would like to re-edit one of his knifes.

The Shadow Knife is "open-source", from my perspective you don't have to give any credits to me or someone else. The code itself is pretty simple, basicly you can add it to any knife ( event weapon ) you want but red glowing effect has to be re-done because it's parented to CSS knife.

Remember how you said you were trying to make a stand-alone model for this? Well, I found a mod that if you talk to the creator, it could look really well with the abilities of this knife. Thanks caeleb7 for your comment. I uderstand that buying game for one addon is silly and I'm sorry that you can't use this addon properly. I think I'll create the stand alone model but I'm not sure about few things. I really don't know if the weapon holding position is from Counter-Strike: Source, if it's not it will be easy to update but if it is - it might take time.

I don't want to promise anything but I think I'll give it a shot.

can you make one that doesnt need css like spy knives or just a stand alone model that could be used because this is cool but i dont want to waste money for something that i only want for something from a different game

Anybody else think there needs to be a gamemode that involves this knife? Something like the Hidden maybe?
