oh i meant just the tip :), for a little extra piercing power, not the whole ship, that would take quite a while lol

Yeah this thing is designed to crack open large ships like an egg, so I wouldn't be using a mod like that on it, because it doesn't fit its purpose. Its supposed to be a cheap ship-wrecking ram rather than an armoured war machine.

i made a block of the reinforced high tech armor blocks and rammed a full sized UNSC Frigate into it and barely made a dent

i know you dont want to use mods, but if you want an extremely powerful piercing tip, i suggest rebuilding it with the reinforced high tech armor from the "High Tech Armor and Other Stuff" mod by Mexpex
