The extraction helicopetr doesnt landing !

Really fun scenario I'm abt to play with my friends but it sucks that the helicopter doesn't pick up up at the end

Anytime a Blackhawk is shot down it is called a "Blackhawk Down". The movie can't claim rights on a term, and the real event was titled the Battle of Mogadishu.

Should change the title since it has nothing to do with the movie or the real event.

What's up? There have been a lot of updates for Arma since I made this so it could be broken. Can you check your mods are correct first please?

3D scopes in RHS options. The PIP mode is most accurate to real life but it's really pixilated in game.

Which acog sights mode did you use?

0-0-1 and 0-0-2 on the number bar across the top of your keyboard. You can only use them when you have completed your objectives, otherwise the radio menu will be empty. Also don't use bravo to give the signal to take off until everyone is onboard the helicopter. Cheers!

How do i use "ALPHA" radio? and "BRAVO"? To call evac.

Also DO NOT use CBA with this mission. The mission does not require it, and choppers do weird things with it enabled.

Yeah there's a chance some AI team memebers will get stuck in buildings. This seems to be a problem with the map. Try to aviod the first compound near where you get dropped off. It doesnt always happen but I've seen it happen there myself. The chopper doesnt like to land if there are still enemy forces in the area. If that was not the case, then maybe a recent arma update has changed something. I'll take a look when I get chance. Cheers!

Nice and quick mission. Love the Taksitan map. Had a few problems. two of the team members got stuck in a building, and the chopper didn't land it just kept on hovering over the exfil point. Not sure if it's the game it self or whatever. Thnx creator!

Good but short. Anyway please allow savegame. Arma is very strange game, I restarted 3 times. 1 I stacked in stairs, 2 I was killed but my teammate.

So I've just realised why people are having trouble with the chopper insertion and I can never reproduce it. You guys have CBA installed. You don't need it for this mission. In fact it screws things up. I can only guarantee my missions will work if you only have the required items installed. Sorry for the delay getting back to you. Cheers.

Finally i completed the mission, im commanded my unit get in hawk after the hawk started landing. With the exception of the previous problems, it was super mission

Make sure the area is clear before calling the chopper. I'll check it out in the editor anyway, but it should work fine.

Oh really? Are you using CUP Terrains? The wreck should be an object included with that map pack. If you are still using AiA Terrains it probably wont work. I'll look into it anyway. Thanks.

Added virtual arsenal to the insertion point at the the start of the mission. Couldn't add it as an action to the chopper itself. Apparently you fall to your death when entering the VA in a moving vehicle. I think it turned out better this way anyway. Enjoy.

It should work with ACE3 but you will not have any of the ACE items in your loadout by default. I could maybe add the virtual arsenal action to the scroll wheel when you're all sat in the heli at the start of the mission. That way you can add whatever gear you want. You're not gonna have much time to gear up though. I'll try it out in the next update.

Could you make it compatible with ACE 3?
