Thanks, great to hear so! :D:

Technically upgrades are no problem - but the mod manager doesn't support my amount of mods in an acceptable way for now. I'll upgrade all my mods when this is done (morness is working on it).

hey Ozhara, how're the updates going? i'm new on the steam version of the game and i'm pretty much waiting exclusively on your awesome terrain's mods. This one included. Keep up the great work!

The visual effect really makes this game more enjoyable to play.

By default cactus plants are placed on dirt terrain. North america isn't even covered by AoE2 itself. But of course map makers can add cactus plants to their maps where ever they want to.

Just one question:

Do the cacti appear ANYWHERE there is desert?
Or just maps set in North America?
Ozhara  [ophavsmand] 11. maj 2015 kl. 23:07
I just changed their visuals, so they shouldn't have outlines, for the default cactus didn't have outlinings too...(I think? Never watched out for this...) But I didn't test this, I'll take a look at it.
blk_panther 11. maj 2015 kl. 17:12
Do they have an outline if behind a building? How do I remove that?

In difference to the default snow that is mostly plain white, my snow isn't just white, but has structure and darker areas.
I did a mod only containing my snow (covering default terrains at mixed terrains) some time ago for a request because of the white default snow.

If you still prefer a terrain pack with just no snow, be aware there will be snow patches on your buildings roofs at snow maps. Removing those would be a dat file mod and therefore be incompatible with other dat file mods (no decay, ressource values, new units, ...) and would need all players in mp to use it.
Ozhara  [ophavsmand] 5. maj 2015 kl. 22:37
Therefore I would suggest a 'less snow' version with just drastically reduced amounts of snow.

But regardless of wheter you get a 'less snow' or a 'no snow' terrain, there is one important question - what terrain do you want to get for the full snow terrain? The other are easy, as they already show what's beneath. But the changed snow terrain should be able to fit in as much areas covered in total snow before as possible.

I want a mod that totally destroys the AOE2 MAP that contains any and all snow.
On a new monitor with all that white? DUDE IT HURTS MY EYES! So thanks if you ever make the NO SNOW MOD.

@Little Lou
Thanks, great you like them. :)

@Red Dragon
No, I started doing these after the mega mod was released. So you need to subscribe them seperately.

But I will implement these cactus in all tree/terrain mods I may publish in the future. :)
Red Dragon 4. maj 2015 kl. 3:36
Is this already included in the recent mega mod Ozhara? :)
Little Lou 4. maj 2015 kl. 0:30
