This is one of my all time favorite mods! I'm so thankful for a player home that has all the books in Skyrim! Alphabetized! <3 It's beautiful, runs like a dream, and the library is incredible.

berndhofschroeer, they do not respawn. None of the containers in this mod respawn. So you can use them all to store your goods indefinately.

Hello, i would like to know, if the containers respawn. The Bookcase´s (with Names Like A-C etc) do not respawn, I hope. What´s about the other containers?

Hi, I used Heartfire Multiple Adoptions by TMPhoenix from Nexus Mods and used the blessing spell and it keeps saying that this is not one of my homes.

It's hearthfire multiple adoptions on nexus. It comes with a bless home spell that automatically sets the home as your custom home. According to their page, the mod creator for the house would have to make it HMA compatible.

Hmm, ok, I only have two children in my game so I haven't tried adopting the other four. Which mod do you use to adopt more children? If I know then I can download and install it and then troubleshoot the two of them so they can be compatible. Thanks ApplesAJ for your feedback!

So I have the mod now, but it isn't multiple adoptions compatible. The 'Bless Home' spell that comes with doesnt work on this mod. The custom family home mod only works for 2 kids.

no all the books are not supposed to be in there. the random spawn books do need to be sorted. Just hadn't gotten to that yet. I didn't add all the books ingame so you could collect them and store them in the library.The bookcases do not respawn but they do give you a starter set of books to use and save.

In the bookcases, are all the books supposed to be in there? because I only have random books in them, and random loot inside of the chests.

Hmm, well AbblesAJ I've looked into this and apparently when I first build the mod the master files that were active was only the vanilla skyrim file. Later I added the other dlcs, it must have default added those as dependent master files for this mod. I didn't use any of the items from those dlcs in the mod but the game still thinks that you have to have those two installed in order for it to be supported. Sorry for the confusion. I didn't realize that it had done that after I downloaded the extra dlcs. So I have updated the description and thank you for your comments.

Do you have dawnguard and dragonborn dlcs?

I just checked, and this is definitely the mod that's crashing my game. Any idea what might mess with it? I don't have the Master Library mod.

Is the file name for this shannasdwemerhouse.esp? Because loot is telling me that it needs dawnguard and dragonborn dlcs. I can't find anything else that could be this mod.

This mod has been downloaded and tested by over 1300 users, the only known combatibility issues was if you were using a Mod called Master Library. So it isn't the file, UNLESS - Perhaps the original file didn't download to your PC completely? Perhaps uninstalling it and attempting a reinstall? My other subscribers haven't had an issue with it but if the file didn't download all the way for you that would cause it not to work right for you. Hope that helps.

@Ghost Mods do not have viruses. They are only extra files that affect the way the game runs, and do nothing to the computer as a whole.

I dont know if i must to dowloand mods,it is dangerous for cumputer ? , because they may have some viruses .Please someone help me to understand waht mods is good and wich is bad.
I want to sasy i like skyrim but with mods it would be mostly interesting .

Thanks @Sylvanas. I havent gotten to markarth to take a look at the library yet. If I decide I dont like it I will go with the dwarven castle. I appreciate you resolving this delemma as quickly as you did. It shows a real dedication to your work.

@ericbyers52 It's the Library. When I installed it I had the same issue and when I turned the Library off, then the game would load and I could access the castle.

Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers are all mods I have installed with my Castle of the Dwarven Lady too. So it would not be one of those. I wonder if it would be the highdef plants +herbs one? On account of the large garden that is in the interior of the Castle? It wouldn't be HQ Snow Texture, or Improved Interior Lighting or Better Embers or Pure Waters. So we could most likely rule those out. I'll take a look at the Master Library and see what cell it edits, so it may be that one. I'll get back to you on it as I know more. Thanks for the heads up.

I have an issue with the mod. When I go to start the game it gets to the Bethesda logo screen then shuts off. When I remove your mod then it works. I have moved it to different locations in the load queue but nothing seems to work. Here are the mods I have installed, maybe one of them is conflicting.

Hi Black_inferno, yes there are several display cases, many mannequins and display racks. I tried to keep it simple enough in loading, so everything loads in one cell rather than having to go to multiple cells to wander around the house. However, that said, there are lots of places to store your gear. Enjoy!

@Sylvanas- I see. I do agree with the Mara statue-- it's an excellent design choice, as the statue fits in very well with its surroundings, though I can be very picky lorewise.

is there a big armoury with tonnes of weapon racks and plaques? Im not really in it for the family thing.... as i fus-ro-dah'd my wife off the throat of the wrold xD. but i love displaying my armour and weapons

Thanks Firehawk! I did try to focus the statues on female statues mainly because as a woman I prefer to look at beautiful things rather than big bulky pissed off daedras. So that was why I chose the female statues. I know the dwemer most likely worshiped the god of logic, but I did consider that most females really are far more interested in love than logic, so Mara is the one in the foyer. I will however look for Julianos and try to add him to the castle because you do make a good point that it would have had a shrine in the castle, even if a dwarven lady was all about romance, roses and love. She probably would have worshiped Julianos as well, or would have had a shrine for her man. Thanks for your comments!

Though I do have a tiny complaint-- INSIGNIFICANT, EVEN :P-- but I'll say it. Lorewise, I believe that the Dwemer did not worship the Divines, according to a passage from a book from the Chimer perspective-- "The Dwemer scorned our rituals [to the Daedra?], preferring instead their gods of Reason and Logic..."

And I noted the statue of Mara. I believe that they'd have worshiped Julianos, god of Wisdom and Logic.

Either way, I think it's awesome, and I am DEFINITELY rating up!

Fallen, Custom Family Home works like a shout, and then you have to wait for your family to travel to your new home. You have to go into the magic menu, and choose "move family" then use the shout and follow the prompts. Its a little complicated at first, but you'll get the hang of it. Then after you do all 21 of the steps to move your family, just go take a nap in your bed for 8 hours. That usually is enough time for your family to travel to your new house. Hope that helps!

This is... amazing. Simply fantastic. I'm not too keen on dwemer houses, but when I saw that this one supports Custom Family Home and/or Followers Can Relax, I knew I had found a perfect mod for my argonian who has a big family and lots of argonian followers. :)

Fallen, Custom Family Home will let you move your family in. The other mod is so you can move your followers wherever you want them to be. So you don't need it if you only want to move your family in. However, I will pull up the links to those two mods and post them here for you. It may take me a few minute to locate them, so please be patient while I am looking for you. OH and thankyou for downloading my mod and for liking it so much! I'll try to make it more user friendly as I go, since this is only the second mod I've ever made.

Thank you sylvanas. I looked there when I got back in system but there wasn't a door for me there. At the time I had no other mods running. When I quit I was unable to log into the game again. Only after deleting the data from my local was I able to get back ingame. I don't think it is the mod, I just think my archaic pc is not up to handle the game and any add ons. So it looks like vanilla for me for the forseeable future. Then screen shots look absolutely cool though.

this is an amazing mod! When I first walked into the castle, my breath really and literally was taken away! Very nice design work and you should really be proud of the work that you have done on this mod. Absolutley stunning. (If you cant tell, I am clapping while I am saying this!!!)
