Well, it's been a long long time but I'm happy to say I've finally delivered on an update to this ship. If you're interested you can find the new version here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2048386839
Enjoy, and stay safe out there!

I actually have an updated version with few added features and improved functionality, Jump Drives included. Since you've reminded me, I'll update the workshop file. Thanks!

Thinking about adding a jump drive?

great ship, again. Nice and simple design and not so big that there are empty rooms- i dont like those ships

Thanks Kiro, I'm really glad you appreciate it, and I'll be happy to continue with the updates!

In other news, the first of the Journeyman support ships, the T11 Wanderer Interceptor is here!
"The T11 Wanderer is everything you need in an Interceptor - long range capable, fast, well armed and well armored. But aboard a Journeyman DSEV, the Wanderer does more than keep you safe. With an exceptionally large cargo capacity, ore detection equipment, oxygen generation and emergency battery supply, the T11 Wanderer can operate as a rugged utility vessel and recon ship, providing everything you need to explore the stars."

Check it out, and watch for the release of the rest of the T series!

I've been looking for a decent ship for survival for ages but nothing quite grabbed my fancy, until now. Amazing ship, it's perfect. It's an amazing design and I don't get lost running around inside. It's crazy how many ships I've tried and just ended up lost in an interior maze. This ship is well thought out and everything works perfectly! Every script is working fine, and they add such functionality to the ship.

This is a keeper for me. Thanks for such a beautiful ship, I hope you keep her updated for the future!

Thanks for letting us use it!

The ship's first update has been released! Increased functionality, new script, and of course cryopods and oxygen farms! Check it out!

Haha, small world. Thank you! With the new Cryopod update there is a new version coming soon!

Amazing ship, I really love it. Made a few changes to it in my game. Really happy with the whole thing. Great work!
JD.Horx 28. apr. 2015 kl. 23:01
Yeah, that could be me ;)
No problem, great ship!
Geologian  [ophavsmand] 28. apr. 2015 kl. 18:10
Hey, you don't happen to be JD Horx who I used to build ships with on Forgehub way back? XD Anyhow, thank you! And I agree with you, and the weapons system is going to be updated with the next release of this ship, which should come after this Thursday's updates. The current design philosophy is not offensive but deffensive, because as an exploration ship I want this vessel to be more of blockade runner than a pursurer. That being said, the weapon load is going to be more evenly redistrubted across the ship and the 'weapon line' on the front will be reduced. Thank you for the suggestion and I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
JD.Horx 28. apr. 2015 kl. 12:52
A really nice ship, I would change the turret placement though. Most turrets should be able to target a ship that's right in front of your vessel. I made the experience, that many turrets end up firing at each other when placed in a straight line.
Still great job :)

Thx

Well, at least in this ship's case it had to do a lot with refinement. I've been working on it for a very long time, and wasn't actually considering releasing it until recently, I was building it just to be a working ship for myself. And now and then, I would go back to it, see what wasn't working or what feature I'd like it to have (more thrusters, more manuaverablitiy, new features, new walkways etc) and then find a way to make it work well in the existing design. I'm sure the process would be a lot quicker if you're doing it intentionally, but you just have to go back, find the things that aren't quite right with the ship and find a way to fix them. Run around in it, find the things that are a little annoying or don't quite work, and see if you can improve it. Eventually, you'll have a well rounded ship. :)

please tell me how people like you build such ships. Honestly i try so hard to build a ship that gets at least 30 subscribers in the first 2 weeks and i honestly dont know how so simple got so popular. please help me.
Pospesel 27. apr. 2015 kl. 21:09
Thanks man!
Geologian  [ophavsmand] 27. apr. 2015 kl. 20:27
Thanks Ekoner!
@Tecoatl, That is symmetry mode, a feature of the game available in creative mode. Just point at the ship and tap N to turn it off, and you can tap N again to turn it back on. If you want to look at more complicated controls for symmetry mode, bring up the help menu in-game. Hope that helps!
Pospesel 27. apr. 2015 kl. 19:29
I wanted to use this ship for a survival solo playthrough with random encounters on and so forth, but when I loaded the ship into creative mode and pasted it in, I tried to make a couple of modifications. However, a strange red screen goes through the middle of the ship as though it's mirrored somehow and it doesn't place items correctly (IE, they'll be placed on both sides of the ship).
Ekoner 26. apr. 2015 kl. 13:50
Nicely done
Geologian  [ophavsmand] 25. apr. 2015 kl. 19:36
Thanks! And if you like it, don't forget to drop a like! :D
Redbreaker47 25. apr. 2015 kl. 19:34
Looks like an amazing ship. Can't wait to test it! :D

Thanks man!

She is a beauty bro
Geologian  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. 2015 kl. 22:22
Haha, the ship was actually all light armor at one point, but upon heavy armor release I gave it an extra layer of heavy, particually cause light armor was paper back then. A lot of the light armor has been cut into for component placement but its still double layers in some places (like double heavy in the bridge).
GrimTheYeeter 23. apr. 2015 kl. 22:11
Man the more I look at this ship the more I like it. I'm a stickler for heavy armored ships even if they're heavy.
Geologian  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. 2015 kl. 16:01
Thanks! I agree, and the coverage will be expanded. The top coverage is actually not as bad as you might think but I will be adding some more weapons for rear coverage in future updates. The weapons are actuall already grouped, the exterior weapons are in the group 'Exterior Weapon Control' and are togglable in the main cockpit in tab two, and the interior weapons are grouped in 'Interior Turret Control' and I believe are in tab 3 or 4.
Q8999 23. apr. 2015 kl. 15:26
This is a good ship! Nice work mate.

Couple of things for improvement: a few more guns top, bottom and back would be good. Can you group the weapons so they can be quickly turned on to auto-engage.
GrimTheYeeter 23. apr. 2015 kl. 11:01
I bet so xD she looks good so why wouldn't ya'?
Geologian  [ophavsmand] 23. apr. 2015 kl. 10:46
Thanks Ghosted! I do fancy her myself :D
GrimTheYeeter 23. apr. 2015 kl. 3:18
She looks pretty good.
